    We at XAT are not thrilled with the lack of Toyota/Lexus UR engine support, so we've purchased a few spare engines for test fitment and are developing new parts for this market! One of the obvious go-to for race builds and anything making higher HP is a set of ARP head studs. ARP says they are working on a kit, but who knows when they will be available, and at what price.     XAT Racing 3UR Billet Fuel Rails 3URFE 3URFBE Fuel Rail Kit 1URFE

    Now exclusively black anodized!

    When we first began to modify and tune the mighty TOYOTA 3UR 5.7L v8 engine we dug into the areas that we could improve the performance and reliability of the engine. We all know that production equipment is made to work within stock performance parameters - so we knew that the fuel system would be the first place we would need to address. While the stock 3UR fuel rails do work just fine- when you start adding HP with a Supercharger or Turbo the fuel demand starts to exceed the flow capabilities of the stock fuel rails. Stock fuel rails are made from pressed and welded steel that have bent crossover and feed ports- these ports are as narrow as 5mm!! To put this measurement into perspective- each injector has a 6mm port on each rail- MEANING the feed port for all 4 injectors on each rail is smaller than just one of the injectors feed ports- WOW - so this is why Tundras approaching 600WHP start to run lean and drop pistons and start welding rings and breaking ring lands- the engine is going seriously lean under these high load situations-  this is where we stepped in- 

    XAT Racing 3UR billet -8AN fuel rails are made from genuine RMR fuel rail stock- machined to perfection  in a multi phase manufacturing process. We designed our fuel rail kit to exceed the performance of the stock rails when needed most- so we started with -8AN fuel rail stock- feed and drain ports are all -8AN ORB meaning you get a perfect o-ring seal on all inlets and outlets. Our injector standoffs have locating tabs so your injectors are facing the correct direction as TOYOTA designed- meaning your injector spray pattern is optimized- and not spraying in the wrong direction- this design feature is exclusive to the XAT Racing 3UR billet fuel rail kit. Injector standoffs have 14% larger (7.15mm) feed ports at the injector vs stock(6mm), while the rail inlet and outlet ports are a whopping 82% larger (9.15mm) than stock (5mm).  All standoffs as well as inlet and outlet ports are e-85 safe o-ring sealed for a leak free design- this also means an easy replacement of o-rings if you ever need to refresh the setup. Mounting tabs are located in the same OEM locations and even use the OEM poly spacer and bolt for install- making install as easy as it can get. 

    XAT Racing 3UR billet fuel rail kit is offered in Anodized finishes as well if your looking to change up the color or look of the fuel rail setup- 

    Each kit comes with both fuel rails with all inlet and outlet ports in -8AN pre-installed as well as all standoffs installed. 

    XAT custom in house, made in the USA, billet aluminum fuel rails! Fits all 2007-2021 3URFE engines, including Tundra, Sequoia, Land Cruiser, and LX570. Also fits 1URFE truck engines (GX460, etc.) Made in the USA!

  • Tundra 3UR Patch Adapter Harness for Standalone EMS ECU 3URFE 3URFBE 2007-2021

    When boosting your 3UR Tundra, you may quickly find the limits of what the stock ECU is capable of as far as tuning goes. The answer is to keep the stock ECU in place (to keep everything in the truck functioning correctly), but also install a stand alone engine management system  to have full control over the engine tune.

    Each harness is custom made to order, so please be patient as you can expect a 1-2 week wait time for manufacturing typically.

    This is not for a full engine harness, does not include ECU or sensors. This listing is for a plug-n-play adapter to fit your factory harness, whether it remains untouched or is rewired for a swap. Depending on your plans, you may need other parts as well for everything to work properly. If you're boosting it, you'll no doubt want MAP and IAT sensors to go along with it.

  • XAT ATi 3UR Crank Damper Crankshaft Dampener Harmonic Balancer Pulley 1URFE 3URFE 3URFBE

    Ever have an engine come apart at high RPM? Well, we haven't. At least, not due to rotating assembly vibrations. We've partnered with the biggest name in the industry yet again to release an 800+ HP capable harmonic balancer for all 3UR-FE and 3UR-FBE 5.7 liter "big block Toyota" engines (that includes Sequoia, Tundra, Land Cruiser, and LX570), and 1URFE truck engines (GX460, Sequoia, Tundra, overseas Land Cruiser). Made in the USA!

    You will have to grind down the factory washer for clearance on the factory crank bolt for this to fit properly. We typically use a belt sander and hold it at a 45* angle to shave the OD. There is no other easy option for this

    Please note this does not work with 6 rib belt 1UR engines. We are still working on a solution for the small block 4.6.

    We now stock a special 7" overdrive diameter pulley for high boost applications with a supercharger! A larger pulley while keeping the included blower pulley the same size will spin the blower faster and make more boost. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT DOING THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE A BUILT ENGINE WITH AFTERMARKET RODS AND A SOLID TUNE.

    Manley 3UR pistons come standard with anti-friction moly coated side skirts (something we recommend for all pistons anyways), high performance chrome piston rings, and the pin locks.

  • XAT 3UR Torque Plate Hone Plate XAT EXCLUSIVE 1UR 2UR 1URFE 3URFE 3URFBE

    XAT Racing is now offering a UR engine torque plate for those that want to properly hone the cylinders on their Toyota/Lexus V8s. It fits all UR engines, even 3URs with Darton sleeves! Any serious engine builder will tell you that you need a torque plate in order to provide a similar stress pattern on the block that it experiences with the head on the block. Some builders even go as far as putting an old head gasket between the block and plate, then go through a standard Toyota pattern for torquing down the bolts/studs.

    This is a precision machined torque plate, manufactured out of 2.0" (50.8mm) thick 6061 T6 aluminum (precision CNC'd by our own machine shop). Aluminum was chosen, as it best replicates stress and strain coefficients of expansion during torquing that the factory aluminum head does. It has an overbore that will allow for plenty of room for honing and boring as possible, so if you are building a setup with stock or slightly larger bore, you won't have an issue. It is shipped in a sturdy container for protection. These are quite possibly the only ones on the market anywhere, so instead of charging up to $800-plus for these units, we thought we would bring it to the market for a reasonable price!! You can expect one it to ship next day typically, as we have one on the shelf at all times! These are available for shipment outside the USA if required as well! Please email Andrew@XATRacing.com for a freight quote. A torque or honing plate is critical when doing the hone/bore process on any engine build, especially those that will be running a boosted setup and ARP head studs. Performance studs are typically torqued at much higher values than standard OEM studs, which causes a deflection in the cylinders if not using a torque plate.

    Please note the $78 rental is for 1 week, which starts from the day you receive the plate, not the date it ships. If you need it longer, we will prorate the charge out of the refund for each week after. You may be better off purchasing it outright if you find your needs extend beyond 1-2 weeks.

  • XAT 3UR Solid Lifter Upgrade Conversion 1URFE 1UR 3URFBE

    The 3UR came with a maintenance-free set of hydraulic lifters to make things easy. At higher RPM and power levels however, sometimes they can't keep up. High performance Toyota G heads have traditionally had solid lifters, but unfortunately, the solid lifters from the 2UR-GSE do not work in the 1UR/3UR FE head engines.

    So we've worked with an aftermarket company to develop a custom set specific to the 3UR (not repurposed from other applications) and is now stocked! These lifters are a 3 piece design, CNC'd, heat treated, and micropolished. Expert level stuff often found in Italian exotics with forced induction making well over 1000 HP!

    Make sure you select your size from the drop down menu! Price is for a full set of 8. Please keep in mind that you will need to custom make connectors to fit the stock harness because of how tight of a fit it is. We include pigtail wiring for you to do so.

    Also fit direct injection FSE heads, however these only replace the port injectors. You keep the factory direct injectors. Tuning is absolutely required when installing these.

    Higher horsepower means more oil demand. When you're running twice or three times the stock power output, you absolutely have to be sure your engine is getting lubricated everywhere it needs to! Especially if you have an aftermarket oil cooler to keep oil temps down! What does XAT do to bring you options for a better oil pump? We take a brand new front cover and oil pump combo, remove all hard edges, radius all corners, enlarge the front main seal drain, and shim the pressure relief valve to give more max PSI. Make sure you get a quality oil pump for your engine, from the professionals at XAT!

    We are only currently able to source 1URFE and 3UR covers also at these prices. If you have a 1URFSE from a sedan (GS460, LS460) you will need to send your front cover and oil pump in.

    When going in and rebuilding or refreshing an engine, it's always best to use new gaskets. This kit includes all of the gaskets needed when rebuilding an engine, including intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, thermostat, water pump, valve stem seals, head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, oil seals, and plenty more.

    Working with one of the biggest names in the industry, XAT Racing has commissioned a set of valve springs and retainers made specifically for the 3UR 5.7 V8 from Toyota/Lexus! These arent simply reused springs from a different application, these springs are purpose built to drop in to your 3UR-FE and 3UR-FBE engine. These will fit all 3URs as well, no matter if it is from a Tundra, Sequoia, Land Cruiser or LX570! Also fits 1URFE truck engines (GX460, etc.)

    Dont forget to opt for the titanium retainers as well! Base price is for springs only.

    These are not required when installing our exclusive in house billet cams, but are strongly recommended. We also strongly recommend opting for the titanium retainers to help reduce valvetrain weight and keep everything locked in. After all, you wouldnt want to go through the effort to upgrade the springs just to leave out the retainers, right? You could add them later...if you want to rip your engine back apart again..

    Pauter Billet 4340 X-Beam Connecting rods for the Toyota/Lexus 5.7 V8s (3UR-FE) engines are precision CNC-machined from the finest 4340 forgings available. Each rod is heat-treated to Rockwell C36 and then full-coverage shotpeened. The rods are then end to end balanced in sets and then final sized on the big and small ends. Each rod comes standard with ARP 2000 bolts rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength and aluminum-bronze wrist pin bushing. Each set comes complete with (8) rods and (16) rod bolts. Good for over 200 HP per rod!

    This service includes modifying both heads, not just one side. You get a full port job, 5 angle valve job, cylinder head inspection, and the heads get hot tanked for a proper cleaning. We offer this service for all UR engines. Regardless of what chassis your engine is out of, we service them all! LS460, LS600h, LC500, LX570, GX460, Land Cruiser, Tundra, Sequoia, etc.

    Please keep in mind that your heads will likely require extra work: heads will typically need to be decked, and you may need other parts replaced such as valve guides. We will keep in touch with you during this process and let you know what your setup needs.

    You cannot define every possibility in a single description or for all applications, but 'generally' speaking, what we provide with our Street Cylinder Head Refresh package is great for up to 7,000+ RPM, more RPM would be possible with proper optional valve train.

    XAT has teamed up with Manley Performance to provide and develop top level valvetrain parts to build with. Includes brand new Ferrea valve locks as well!

    In reality, no matter what purpose/intended use of your build, you will benefit! The truth is unless you are building a 1300HP+ drag car, you can pretty much eliminate any serious deep cylinder head porting. You simply do not gain enough volumetric efficiency by hogging out a ton of metal in the heads, unless you are running a silly-high lift custom cam.

    As we break into the new era of UR engines, we have begun development on 6 speed manual swap options. Our flywheel for this conversion bolts to your factory flex plate. Fits the Nissan 6 speed from the 350Z, 370Z, G35, and G37 (commonly referred to as the CD009) as well as our T56 adapter face plate. We are able to keep costs down of this custom billet part by reusing the factory flexplate for a ring gear, instead of supplying an aftermarket one that does not work any better than the factory parts do. This is specifically made to fit our adapter plate only, and is required to finish the swap.

    Please note the 1UR-FSE and 1UR-FE 4.6 Toyota/Lexus car and engines use a different flywheel than the 3UR 5.7 truck engine

    You know how 5.7 liters isn't enough? Well, we have just the fix for that!

    The BC stroker kit for the Toyota 3URFE engine platform incorporates a 108mm stroke, steel billet crank, choice of BC 625+ Pro Series or ProH2K Billet rods. We have multiple customers around the world running these kits in various forms. One customer is making 600 HP at 5000 RPM, and 800 ft lbs at 3000 RPM with this kit!!

    BC crankshafts are made from the finest, aerospace grade 4340 steel billet material. CNC machined on state of the art, 5 axis Mazak Integrex 300-IV CNC machines to exacting tolerances (.0001"). Every crankshaft features large radius journals that add rigidity for high horsepower, high boost, high rpm applications. Gun drilled, CNC ground oil holes feature a smooth surface for extra oiling, tear dropped for added oil scoop, cross drilled for priority main feeding to the rods and micro polished to a mirror finish for optimum bearing lubricity. All cranks are stress relieved, shot peened, magna flux inspected and nitrided (multi step heat treatment) for ultimate performance. Fully profiled counterweights are designed for reduced windage through the crankcase creating less oil resistance for better rpm potential.

    Quick version of what you will need:

    • UR serviceable bellhousing with 12 bolt or 14 bolt trans flange
    • Pilot bearing (included)

    As we break into the new era of 1UR and 3UR engines, we have begun development on 6 speed manual swap options. We've developed an adapter plate specific for the UR automatic bellhousings to convert to a manual transmission, in this case the popular Tremec T56 Magnum! This specific plate works on all UR engines, however you will need the matching bellhousing that has the 12 or 14 bolt bellhousing-to-trans-case pattern. The only 1UR bellhousing this does not bolt to is the Land Cruiser/LX460 200 series 1UR-FE with the same 14 bolt pattern as the 3UR engines.

    This billet aluminum adapter plate reuses your automatic UR bellhousing. Not all UR engines had a replaceable bellhousing, so you may need to source one from a GX460 or other Toyota/Lexus URs for instance. 

    Our flywheel for T56 transmission applications uses the same one as our UR-to-Nissan 6 speed (commonly referred to as the CD009). You will need our in house flywheel, which bolts to your factory flex plate. We are able to keep costs down of this custom billet part by reusing the factory flexplate for a ring gear, instead of supplying an aftermarket one that does not work any better than the factory parts do. T56 transmission not included.

    Please note the 1UR-FSE and 1UR-FE 4.6 engines uses a different flywheel than the 3UR-FE and 3UR-FBE 5.7 truck engine. You will reuse your factory flex plate for the ring gear and factory starter engagement.

    The T56 style throw out bearing is also used with these kits. These are relatively inexpensive, which helps keep swap-cost down. We also offer a Quarter Master TOB as an option for a higher quality long term investment. 

    Twin disc/multi plate clutches will require the use of the QM TOB, it is not optional on the 7.25" and 8.5" twin disc clutches we offer. The QM TOB also requires a Tilton quill tube (input shaft sleeve), which is included as well as the bleed line that is needed if the QM TOB option is selected. Made in the USA!

    At long last, aftermarket rods are available for these massive Toyota engines! BC calls these their PRO-H rods (H-beam), and they come in 2 flavors.

    For most builds, the 2k version is all that's needed. The ProH2K is rated in excess of 1400 HP and priced for the everyday performance enthusiast who isn't going to the moon, using ARP2000 rod bolts.

    Anyone looking to pump it up to the next level would want to opt for the ProH625+ version, which uses Custom Age 625+ fasteners instead of the ARP2000s. They cost a bit more, but they're rated at 2000 HP and should be able to handle anything you can throw at them!

    These are not simply overpriced regrinds of stock cams. There are machined from new billet cores, with a profile made specifically for super charged engines! Whether you're using a TRD/Maggy blower or stepping up to the Whipple, these cams will help make the most of your "big block Toyota" project.

    These cams will be for anyone looking to get the most out of their Tundra, Sequoia, LX570, GX460, Land Cruiser, etc. with the 3URFE engine. THESE DO NOT HAVE THE LOBE FOR THE AIR PUMP FOR 1UR-FE ENGINES. OTHERWISE THEY WILL FIT.  We have specific 1ur-FSE camshafts as well- please inquire.

    In the interest of ever expanding our knowledge base, we are offering actual bench flow testing numbers for various Toyota heads, free! Included are actual numbers from heads we have ported in the past for actual customers.

    Although it looks cool to have big, polished, shiny intake and exhaust ports to show off...in the real world, this is impractical. Aggressive port jobs work for a dedicated drag race car or circle track roundy-round car that will always be going wide open throttle, pushing well over double the HP of the factory setup with big cams and/or extra boost from a turbo or supercharger. Anything else getting this treatment would end up losing low and mid range power as charge air velocity drops, and a little turbulence is conducive to better air/fuel mixing.

    With decades of hands on experience, our guys hand port every head that gets our pocket port service. We have the know how with where it is needed most, and how much is needed. Our results show modest improvements throughout the RPM range, and noticeable gains in the top end, without sacrificing much low end power to get there.

    Some engines (such as the 1URFE and 3URFE, which share the same exact cylinder head) already have massive ports that have been expertly engineered by Toyota. Are there gains to be had from porting these heads as well? At the very top end above 6000 RPM, yes, potentially, with enough cam and enough boost. For the vast majority of users making high HP N/A or even mild boost, there's not much benefit from doing so. As you can see from the numbers above, the stock UR V8 head already overwhelmingly outflows even a ported 2JZGTE head! This makes this 2nd generation of V8s a terrific starting platform as a capable powerplant.

    Looking to push 800+ HP out of your 3UR engine? This pulley will make that an easier goal to hit! We custom made these pulleys with a 7 inch diameter to bolt on to our ATI crank pulley (not the factory one) and replace the factory size pulley they are normally made with. Our oversized pulley will help spin your supercharger faster, as boost pressure from a supercharger depends on the speed of the drive pulley and ratio between the crankshaft pulley and the supercharger's pulley.

    We offer these a la carte now for anyone that has previously purchased one of our custom ATi crank damper pulleys, and is looking to throw more boost at their engine.

    Stronger internals are absolutely required when running this pulley. You do not want to test the limits of your engine if you do not have aftermarket rods and pistons installed. Professional installation and tuning is required.

  • Radium Tundra 3UR Catch Can Kit PCV Fluid Lock 2007-2021

    This installation kit was specifically designed for the 07-21 Toyota Tundra with the 3UR-FE engine. There is no drilling or permanent modifications required. IF USING A TRD OR OTHER AFTERMARKET SUPERCHARGER, please check the pictures carefully to make sure the location of the catch cans is not occupied by intercooler plumbing or other related supercharger components.

    An oil catch can is essential on a performance vehicle to protect the engine from elevated levels of crankcase blow-by accumulated from everyday driving. Excess oil saturated air circulating back into the air intake stream can lead to degraded performance. Radium Engineering catch cans feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick.

    TUNDRA CATCH CAN KIT OPTIONS
    Radium Engineering offers two independent Tundra oil catch can kits that are sold individually or together. They do NOT vent to atmosphere (VTA), thus are emissions and track legal. Closed loop systems route clean filtered air back in through the engine to be burned and to promote negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance. Furthermore, closed systems prevent unwanted oil vapors from entering into the cabin.

    The 20-0238-FL PCV Catch Can Kit, Fluid Lock runs inline with the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve. When the intake manifold pressure is close to or greater than atmospheric pressure, the PCV "check" valve closes and, thus, this hose experiences no flow. Conversely, the PCV hose will experience "metered" vacuum when the engine is idling, low load cruising, and decelerating. This would normally draw unwanted crankcase vapor, unspent fuel, and oil sludge into the intake manifold immediately after a high load run. Note: Because the Radium catch cans are pressure sealed, they are great for boosted applications as well so connecting to the intake manifold is permitted.

    Why isn't everyone running a 3UR?! After tearing one down and analyzing the engine top to bottom, we've really come to appreciate the level of engineering that has gone into these engines. It's no wonder they were made for over 15 years! We feel they're extremely underrated, and they also respond especially well to supercharging.

    XAT has been building 3URs and developing new parts for years for customers worldwide. We pride ourselves with taking the time to correctly assemble and rebuild every engine, knowing them inside and out. We also are excited to build more and more of these for boost, as our daily driven Whipple supercharged Tundra has become an entirely different beast with forced induction.

    Every engine gets hand built to order. Not everyone has the same goals or budget in mind, so we have built everything from mild to wild, including an all out 6.8 liter bored and stroked version!

    You will need to send us your engine, or you can use one of our supplied cores. We have a few in stock!

    Our "base" engine build handles 800 HP reliably, but we do have a variety of options that you should also consider.   • OEM new 3UR Exhaust Cam Gear VVTi Camshaft Phaser Brand new Toyota Land Cruiser Tundra Sequoia LX570

    We've seen some of these get a bit weak in operation over time. Some have reported hearing a clunking at idle at higher mileage, which could be the culprit. Both exhaust cam gears are the same, driven by oil pressure, but are clearly different from the intake side.

    This is for (1) single one, if you need both, you will need to add 2 to your cart.

    If you're looking for a truly top to bottom full fresh rebuild, dont forget to replace these as well.

If you're building a high horsepower engine, these valves are a must for dealing with the intense heat that a supercharger or turbo will be adding to the combustion process.   • OEM new 3UR Intake Cam Gear VVTi Camshaft Phaser Brand new Toyota Land Cruiser Tundra Sequoia LX570

    We've seen some of these get a bit weak in operation over time. Some have reported hearing a clunking at idle at higher mileage, which could be the culprit. They can be tested with compressed air to see if they're working properly, and if it isnt, typically it's best to replace it altogether. Both intake cam gears are the same, driven by oil pressure, but are clearly different from the exhaust side.

    Pictures show a used one we pulled off an engine, but you will get a brand new one. This is for (1) single one, if you need both, you will need to add 2 to your cart.

    If you're getting that diesel rattle noise, one or both may need to be replaced. They can be checked with compressed air fairly quickly, which is detailed in the factory service manual. If you're rebuilding your engine, you may want to consider replacing them regardless. 

    Fits all 2007-2022 3UR and 1URFE truck engines, including Tundra, Sequoia, Land Cruiser, and Lexus LX570 and GX460. The part number has been superseded a few times, but these are completely interchangeable with 13050-0S020, 13050-38040, and 13050-38010.

    For those that need more electricity than the stock alternator can provide, we have teamed up with JS Alternators to offer these custom made to order options! Even better, theyre plug and play, no adapter wiring needed!

    JS Alternators also requires their universal Big 3 wiring kit, or otherwise similar wiring upgrades in addition to the factory wiring in order to handle the higher output. The big 3 Wiring upgrade is an ADDITION to your factory wiring.
    All factory connections need to remain connected. For protection, it is recommended to add an in line fuse to the positive wire. All grounds must be cleaned to bare metal and properly secured.

    Big 3 wires are 1/0 gauge pure copper cables. 1 positive to connect from the positive stud on the alternator to the positive battery terminal. Other 2 ground wires go from the alternator mount bolt to frame/chassis, and negative on the battery to frame/chassis.

    Most JS Alternators are custom built to order and typically take 5-15 business days to be built and shipped. All JS alternators have a lifetime warranty on labor, and 1 year warranty on parts.

    Hairpin units are commonly called 6 phase. They produce more output at idle and are more efficient than a conventional alternator. JS Alternators hairpin units feature premium bearings to withstand high engine rpm and utilize dual plate rectifier with 12 heavy duty diodes for improved cooling. Hairpin Units are a more reliable alternator to withstand high heat, high demand for car audio, marine, and racing applications.

    The K&N AirCharger 63-9036 air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Toyota Tundra models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your Tundra's engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 63-9036 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that directs cooler, denser air through a custom molded intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain.
