Unfortunately due to supplier issues, we've had to discontinue our billet UZ cams indefinitely. Our only other option is to re-grind factory cams to custom specifications.
Cams can be ordered for VVTI or non-VVTi engines., We now have fitment for all 98+ UZ fitment variations! These all will retain VVTi compatibility, and if need be, VVTi can always be disabled down the road. You will either need to send us your cams, or we can supply a core set for you.
For the manufacturing process, we start with proprietary cast iron billets, CNC machine the lobes, and finish off with double heat treatment, 5160 induction hardening, and Tufftriding.
Depending on how aggressive of a cam you choose, you may need to clearance in the head and bucket area for the bigger lobe to fit. Please note you need to have your head machined to fit the race cams for lobe clearance. The last 2 pictures show actual TRD heads and where they had to machine to install performance cams for example
