It seems Toyota ECUs tend to last about 20-30 years. This sort of thing has cropped up before. It's not uncommon nowadays to find JZ and UZ engine computers having issues, almost universally due to capacitors failing and leaking on one of the boards. 

We're able to repair the damage for you! This is a service, so you will need to send in your ECU to us. Usually takes roughly 1 week for us to fix it, and send it back out, often sooner.

Please contact us with specific details about your project and we can help get your car working right again. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and we've been able to fix them for various applications including MkIV Toyota Supra, Crown, Crown Majesta, IS300, GS300, SC300, LS400 Celsior, etc.
