Our adapter plate is the best option for adapting your engine to a T56 transmission. We even swapped one into a turbo JZS155 Crown we built!! Here's why it's our favorite option:
- Reuses your extremely common/easily sourced J2 bellhousing from your 1JZ or 2JZ engine (used on most 2JZ N/A A340E transmissions. Check the casting on the top of the bell to verify)
- Billet CNC aluminum plate for superb strength and minimal weight
- Less expensive than a full bellhousing replacement, with less shipping cost
- Direct bolt on adapter, no cutting or welding required
Fits all JZ engines, including 1JZGTE, 1JZGTE VVTi, 2JZGE, 2JZGE VVTi, 2JZGTE, 2JZGTE VVTi, and 1JZGE!
For long term reliability, shift quality, and strength, we recommend going with one of the various T56 Magnum Chevy splined options, as clutches are most readily available for those specifically. Made in the USA!
