So you bought one of our various LS460 upgrade brake kits, have driven thousands of miles on it, loved it, and abused the crap out of the rotors. After a wholesome amount of wear and tear, your rotors have finally fallen below 28mm of rotor thickness, and it's time to replace those tron discs for a new start.

Say no more! These rotors are what we use in all of our LS460 5 lug brake kits, including our 2GS (GS300/GS400/GS430/SC430, Aristo), IS300, MkIV Supra, Celsior/LS400, and 5 lug 2005-2015 Tacoma. Price includes both front replacement rotors.

Please note that included calipers are supplied bare natural dark grey. Our local powdercoaters are still unable to take on new work, so you will have to take care of different colors on your side.

Us 5 lug Tacoma owners really get the short end of the stick. The 6 lug 4WD trucks all got a decent 4 piston brake setup, whereas ours is almost the same size as the Camry. This issue is compounded for X-Runner guys, especially with boost on top!

From the success of our brake kits for the RWD Lexus cars (GS, SC, LS, etc), we have adapted and implemented a similar complete bolt on kit for the 2005-2015 Tacoma 2WD trucks, including X-Runner, excluding PreRunner. All 5 lug trucks.

The XAT Racing Lexus Brake Upgrade Kit comes with everything you need to bolt on this new brake setup, short of your favorite brake fluid. That includes calipers (optionally, also can be powdercoated as pictured), rotors, pads, pins, anti-rattle springs, mounting hardware, brackets, and stainless braided lines. We've had to switch to more expensive Wilwood lines and increase the cost somewhat until StopTech can replenish current backorders.

Calipers are sourced from a 2007-2020 LS460, LS460L, LS600h, and even the new LS500 4 piston fronts, RWD non-sport package K17 style. We typically source brand new OEM Lexus/Advics. You also do NOT need the roll center adjusters we make to install on a Tacoma! This listing includes everything else you need for 100% bolt on and go!

We typically prefer the Posi-Quiet Centric/Stoptech pads, as they have excellent street performance and are not unnecessarily loud/squeaky once properly bedded in. Other options are available as well, if you prefer.

For discs, we typically use off-the-shelf preferred Centric/StopTech 2008-2014 IS-F 360mm (14.1 inch) rotors. They come cross drilled from the factory (just like the IS-F rotors are), though we have other bolt on options as well if you're going for a different style or preference. We've not heard of any issues with rotor cracking like some other aftermarket applications have reported.

Although this kit uses DOT approved components, please note it is meant for off road use only. Proper installation is required, and all safety precautions should be heeded. 

Additionally, you will most likely need 18" wheels to fit over these. The only 18s we have found to not fit so far are some Enkei RPF1s and IS250/IS350 F Sport front wheels. We cannot make any promises on what else will not fit, however every other 18" wheel we have tried does fit over these brakes, including factory X-Runner wheels, Enkei NT03+, G35 Ray's wheels, etc.

The improvement in pedal feel is more dramatic on older vehicles where the factory rubber line may have softened and swelled due to age.

StopTech brake lines consist of a PTFE (commonly referred to as Teflon) inner line that carries the brake fluid, which is then covered with a layer of stainless steel woven braid. The PTFE  tube is very resistant to expansion under pressure and will not degrade from exposure to brake fluid.

The braided stainless steel provides support for the PTFE and the weave is extremely durable against incidental impact and abrasion. Next the stainless braided hose is coated with a clear abrasion resistant PVC cover for maximum protection against chaffing and strain relief devices reinforce end fittings.

A variety of end fittings are available to meet most application needs. All fittings are engineered for proper fit and durability. All necessary brackets and fasteners are included with each line kit.

Every StopTech brake line is 100% tested in-house to a pressure of 4,500 PSI. This is almost 4 times the typical line pressure exerted by a production vehicle's master cylinder.

Most of our brake kits use these specific calipers, and it's important to know which kind you need if youre looking to install our brake upgrade. There's no less than 3 different front calipers that came on those cars, so if you dont want to gamble on getting the right ones, make sure you get them from us!

There's a number of brake pad options out there with different compounds and capabilities. We've found the best all around option and have been using these since our very first kit in 2019.

These pads are great for all uses: street, strip, race, drift, highway cruising, etc. Theyre dead quiet in all conditions and have great feel.

They also come with all necessary installation hardware. Many less expensive kits out there do not include all of the needed springs/clips, and some dont include any at all! Be wary of these kits, as you will no doubt end up spending extra time and money to source the individual parts you need separately. A differential/axle breather serves the important purpose on a 4WD vehicle of venting the air pressure in drivetrain assemblies such as the differential, transmission and transfer cases. Many drivetrain assemblies are fitted with a breather from the factory. These factory breathers are usually a one-way valve mounted directly to the housing or remotely on a short tube. There are many short comings to this style and the ARB Differential Breather Kit is designed to eliminate these by providing a high flow, zero back pressure, zero vacuum breather system. The kit is intended to replace your factory breathers and contains enough fittings and tubing to connect at least two drivetrain assemblies. More tubing and push-in fittings can be purchased separately to connect up to four assemblies to the central manifold.  

If youre looking to stroke your 1GR anywhere from 4.3 to 4.7 liters, but you want to use different pistons and rods, here's your answer! We have worked with BC for many years and run BC parts in almost every engine we've built for many years. This is a 4340 forged steel crankshaft which bumps your 1GR's stroke from 95mm to 103mm

If youre looking to punch out your 1GR here's your answer! We have worked with BC for many years and run BC parts in almost every engine we've built for many years. 

These will let you use anywhere from 94mm to 98mm bore pistons, meaning you can punch it out to 4.3 liters, even before installing a stroker crank! You can run these on any sort of engine, from a daily driven grocery getter, all the way to high HP drag monster.

Couple this with the BC stroker kit to hit 4.7 liters! That's the same displacement that the Tundra/Land Cruiser V8 had, but you could have them in your Taco, FJ Cruiser, Prado, HiLux, etc. without a complicated engine swap!

Pauter Billet 4340 X-Beam Connecting rods for the Toyota/Lexus 4.0 V6 (1GR-FE) engines are precision CNC-machined from the finest 4340 forgings available. Each rod is heat-treated to Rockwell C36 and then full-coverage shotpeened. The rods are then end to end balanced in sets and then final sized on the big and small ends. Each rod comes standard with ARP 2000 bolts rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength and aluminum-bronze wrist pin bushing. Each set comes complete with (6) rods and (12) rod bolts. Good for over 200 HP per rod!
