    For those who just need a simple rebuild and not fancy ACL race bearings, we can supply these OEM quality bearings. Clevite is an American brand with one of the oldest pedigrees and supplies pistons, assemblies, cylinder liners, bearings and valves for American commercial vehicles as well as construction and agricultural equipment applications.

    Various forms of main bearing grooving have been used over the years. We are frequently asked what difference grooving makes.

    First, it’s essential to understand that bearings depend on a film of oil to keep them separated from the shaft surface. This oil film is developed by shaft rotation. as the shaft rotates it pulls oil into the loaded area of the bearing and rides up on this film much like a tire hydroplaning on wet pavement. Grooving in a bearing acts like tread in a tire to break up the oil film. While you  want your tires to grip the road, you don’t want your bearings to grip the shaft.

    The primary reason for having any grooving in a main bearing is to provide oil to the connecting rods. Without rod bearings to feed, a simple oil hole would be sufficient to lubricate a main bearing. Many early engines used full grooved bearings and some even used multiple grooves. As engine and bearing technology developed, bearing grooving was removed from modern lower main bearings. The result is in a thicker film of oil for the shaft to ride on. This provides a greater safety margin and improved bearing life. Upper main shells, which see lower loads than the lowers, have retained a groove to supply the
    connecting rods with oil.

    In an effort to develop the best possible main bearing designs for performance engines, we’ve investigated the effects of main bearing grooving on bearing performance. The graphs on the next page illustrate that a simple 180° groove in the upper main shell is still the best overall design.

    While a slightly shorter groove of 140° provides a marginal gain, most of the benefit is to the upper shell, which doesn’t need improvement. On the other hand, extending the groove into the lower half, even as little as 20° at each parting line (220° in total), takes away from upper bearing performance without providing any benefit to the lower half. It’s also interesting to note that as groove length increases so do horsepower loss and Peak Oil Film Pressure which is transmitted directly to the bearing.

    *P-Series Bearings*
    These are not to be confused with the standard passenger car and light truck parts for the same retention applications which also have a “P” suffix letter. These high performance parts have unique core part numbers different from the standard parts for the same application. P-Series parts are the oldest series of Clevite high performance bearings. The rod bearings in this series typically have the greatest amount of eccentricity. Most rod bearings are available either with or without dowel holes for use in aluminum rods. Most P-Series main sets are full grooved to maximize oil flow to the rod bearings. Both rods and mains have high crush for maximum retention, and a reduced overlay thickness to prevent overlay fatigue, sometimes referred to as hen tracking.

    This alternator also has an extra mounting rib that newer UZ engines added, however this is not required for mounting, does not get in the way, and does not need to be machined off in most cases. Some fitments will require this

    Please note this adapter harness only works on UZ engines with the oval style connector. If you have the round connector, you will have to rewire your harness for this to work, which is fairly straightforward since it's only 3 wires. 

    You will also need to verify that your plug is in the same position as the picture on your application. Some applications do not have room behind the alternator itself to plug in, and instead have the plug radially mounted instead of axial mounted. We do not currently have a replacement option for that.

    After 25+ years of off-roading, mud, dirt, grime, sand, rust, road salts, etc., you may be having issues with your factory triple locked Land Cruiser or LX450 engaging the electronic e-lockers. Fortunately these are still available OEM new, without paying $875+ for the Toyota box! We only use OEM Toyota parts for anything and everything where we can, as nobody built a better 80 series than Toyota themselves!

    You'll need to check your truck to see what the specific issue is, as replacing this alone might not fix your locking issue.

    This is a genuine 2JZGTE water pump from Toyota and is designed to eliminate the hydrofan pump on the 1JZGTE and 2JZGTE engines (JDM). If you are converting from a hydrofan setup to either e-fans or mechanical fan, you will also need the pulley.

  • BRAND NEW OEM Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series Rear Hatch Upper Door Handle

    Brand new OEM replacement hatch handle. Your Cruiser has seen at least 25 winters now, so you may not have much left of your original handle. We personally had one too many winters, and the handle crumbled in our hands when trying to open the back hatch up!

    Please note this does NOT fit the barn door GX and poverty spec trucks. This is for the horizontal split hatch ones, which include those with the side mounted spare tire.

    Even if only the black plastic handle part is damaged, you may need to replace the whole hinge assembly. Ours was too rusted away to reuse, so we offer this option for replacement.

    Includes the metal hinge, the plastic handle itself, and the 2 bolts holding it to the hatch. Usually these bolts are just as crusty as the rest, so we include brand new ones from Toyota as well. Toyota is known for having superb zinc coating on their hardware, so definitely not worth skimping out there.

    Rusty rear window on your 80 series? Yeah, us too, on both of ours. Pretty unfortunate. So what do you do? Repair and restore!

    This kit includes all OEM Toyota parts to replace your aging hatch seals. Some of the part numbers are different on USDM trucks for some reason, so keep that in mind that there might be slight variations between what you have on your truck and our JDM offerings.

    Contents:

    • Rear window weatherstrip hatch seal
    • Rear full hatch weatherstrip seal
    • Both rear chrome window outside molding pieces
    • Both rear chrome window molding center covers

    You'll need to have a professional address the rust before you install these parts. With rust, you should always expect it to be worse than it looks. Once the rust is properly treated and repaired, you'll need to reinstall with this kit!

    Depending on your specific individual truck, there may be more parts that need to be replaced or repaired while youre in there. Keep that in mind and be prepared for some sad surprises.

    Direct genuine OEM Toyota replacement fender lights! We've seen these installed on other cars as well for effect. In front end collisions, these can easily get damaged, so having an extra set doesn't hurt!

    Using some sort of fiber optic magic, these hide a small bulb and point the light backwards at the driver, so it's not visible from all angles, and less so during the day. The amount of thought put into these is impressive!

    These are specific to the 150, but will also fit other cars as well, including the Crown Comfort and 150 series Crown Majesta. We suspect the Century may have used them as well, just with different length wire

    Although these dont tend to be an issue unless the car is getting launched quite a bit, they are still quite old and have seen better days.     Since we never got these 5 speed Land Cruiser transmissions in the states (zenki 60 series was the last manual Land Cruiser we got), finding replacement/wear parts like these bearings can be difficult. We do have a set of these bearings in stock! 

    If you're in there replacing your clutch (probably could use it at this age!), you should also be replacing these normal wear parts. Dont get stuck with garbage aftermarket no name brand ones, stick with the ones that are good for 200k+ miles!

The first is to select either the factory Toyota headgasket, which we know is very robust, or upgrade to our incredible 4 layer STOPPER head gasket (made in HKS factory for us), which is good for 1200+ HP! The second option is to purchase one tube of genuine Toyota FIPG (black) sealer. We think it is a MUST on all engine rebuilds. Even people outside of the Toyota world LOVE to use it!

  • OEM 2JZGE VVTi Timing Service Kit IS300 GS300 Crown

    Fits 1998-2005 2JZGE VVTi engines! Includes timing belt, belt tensioner, idler pulley, bracket, water pump, O ring, and gasket, as well as replacement instructions.

    Please note that almost all of these parts will fit a 95-97 2JZ Crown as well, but the water pump might not fit your application. Please keep that in mind when ordering.

    The OEM timing belt tensioner brackets are prone to cracking and breakage in high RPM/high HP applications. This is a well known problem, especially with higher lift cams, which turn our beloved 2JZs into interference engines!

    Factory new steering racks are no longer available for these cars, however Toyota themselves do offer rebuilt units! These racks are rebuilt by Toyota themselves and are the best option on the market.     This is one option we're particularly excited to share and offer! This is a factory original Toyota, brand new in packaging (we removed one for pictures) wallet to carry your keys in. Why is this a big deal?

    Included exclusively on all Celsiors and GZG50 Centurys from the factory is a magnet built into the steering column. Sewed into this real, genuine leather wallet is a small bit of ferrous metal to stick to the side of the column. Okay, but why is this a big deal?

    In a car as well thought out and developed as the Century is, NVH reduction is the name of the game. As the car gets quieter, it becomes more and more difficult to reduce noise, vibrations, and harshness from the Century experience. The loudest thing in the whole vehicle may be the keys banging against the side of the dash/steering column

    This key ring is specifically designed to stop that from happening. The magnet in the column is only just strong enough to hold your keys in place, assuring a comfortably silent ride. It doesnt sound like a big deal, but in a car as magnificent as a Century, it just shows the level of detail and care that went into engineering and development!

  • OEM Toyota Truck 3/4" Clutch Master Cylinder for V8 swap 4Runner Tacoma T100 etc.

    When swapping to a V8 using our transmission adapter kits, you'll need a 3/4" bore master cylinder to go with it. The factory 4Runner, Tacoma, Pickup, T100 etc. size is only 5/8", which wont be enough. 

    Fortunately, we have an OEM Toyota option that is inexpensive and an easy fix! Not a cheap knockoff, actual factory OEM part.

    Depending on your chassis, there might be fitment issues with the reservoir, but that's an easier problem to fix than having the wrong size cylinder. The bolt pattern might be slightly different from what you have in your chassis as well, but that's very easily fixed with some new firewall holes.

    Fits all 1998+ UZ engines, including 1UZ VVTi, 2UZ, and 3UZ! Usually you do a timing service at the same time as replacing this, since it's water pump driven. In any case, we only stick with OEM factory parts. Do it once, do it right. And nobody does it better than Toyota!
