XAT has been building Toyota/Lexus UZ V8s and developing new parts for almost 2 decades for customers worldwide. We pride ourselves with taking the time to correctly assemble and rebuild every engine, knowing them inside and out. We also are excited to build more and more of these for boost, as we feel a manual transmission and a turbo or supercharger are what these engines really respond best to.
Every engine gets hand built to order. Not everyone has the same goals or budget in mind, so we have built everything from mild to wild, including an all out 6.8 liter bored and stroked version!
You will need to send us your engine, or we can supply a core.
Our "base" engine build handles 800 HP reliably, but we do have a variety of options that you should also consider. If you're not sure if you want them, keep in mind that it's much easier to spend a few extra bucks while we have it and it's apart, than it is to go back in later and add these parts!
Base build includes fully assembled engine, ready to drop in:
- Eagle ESP rods
- JE or CP pistons for high compression N/A or low compression boost
- All new timing parts (belt, tensioner, billet tensioner bracket, pulley, water pump)
- ACL rod/main bearings, OEM thrust washer
- Block honing with torque plate
- Hot tanked engine
- XAT modified high performance oil pump
- Ported intake/exhaust ports
- Valve job
- ARP head studs
- ARP main studs
- Heads bolted to block, timing set
- Valve lash set with shims
- New valve stem seals
Every engine shipping from us also gets crated in ISPM 15 certified wood crates for international shipment. Your investment needs to be protected, and this is included in the build price
