    When we took a look at the previous generation of adapter plates, all we could see was room for improvement and higher quality. We wanted a plate that would mount PERFECTLY with zero slop. It needed to look good and perform even better. DON'T get stuck with an overvalued, sloppy plate that ends up costing you input shafts and has poor fitment. You can go with a less expensive alternative and end up with broken parts, or you can do it right the first time with us! No complaints with over 5 years of service.

    This billet aluminum adapter plate reuses your automatic J3 bellhousing (usually from 2JZGTE A340E automatics). It will require you to cut off the CD009 bellhousing, which gives MUCH more room to work with in most chassis. Alignment of the input shaft becomes dependent on this plate and not the quality of the bell housing cut, so worry not! This isn't like other kits out there. 

    Regardless of which clutch you use, you will need to use the Quarter Master throw out bearing. 

    With single disc clutch setups, this kit is designed to use our custom flywheel that uses off the shelf "Z32 turbo" (89-96 Nissan 300ZX twin turbo) clutches, which are inexpensive, readily available, and hold power well.

    The twin disc setups include their own flywheel, but will retain the factory a ring gear for the starter (the OEM auto flex plate)

This will fit all versions of this transmission: CD001, CD003, CD005, CD008, CD009, JK41A, JK41B, JK40C, 1EA0A, and 1EA0B from the 2003-2008 Nissan 350Z/Fairlady Z, 2009-2020 370Z, Skyline V35 and V36 non-GTR sedan and coupe, and Infiniti G35 and G37 

    Our products are CAD designed with OEM blocks and transmissions on professional equipment by industry professionals. No bad measurements, no flame cuts, no warped discs, no nonsense. You should be using a 3/4" master cylinder in tandem with the TOB we use.

    This is the missing link for doing the 1JZ or 2JZ swap, or simply adding a manual transmission to your already existing JZ powered vehicle (Supra, IS300, SC300, GS300). Our CNC process for manufacturing the plate results in an extremely precise adapter plate, laser tight tolerances, and a focus on quality that has yielded a product that will produce less wear on the transmission and clutch. The kits being sold by our "competition" are routinely a few thousands off and have sloppy fitting dowel pin holes. We have even seen competitor's products first hand being warped right out of the box! The adapter kits come with the needed pilot adapter and bushing as well. This is the tried and true kit from XAT Racing, except no imitations when it comes to doing it right the first time.

    You can also use the less expensive RAM throw out bearing with this kit, however we do not support it. You will need to drill and tap the plate at your own risk to mount one.

    The GKTech shifter is great for relocating the shifter fit Lexus SC fitment and MkIV Supra fitment. Should also fit other applications as well, though that will depend on the chassis you're using and where the engine is mounted

    After the surprise success of our 2GS/SC430 brake adapters, we've started development on an IS300 version as well! These brackets let you bolt on 4 piston LS460 calipers to your IS300 / Altezza, making an inexpensive but VERY effective brake update option! Thanks to Toyota parts interchangeability, that means they also fit Chaser, Cresta, Crown, Mark 2, Progres, and Verossa chassis'!

    In our continuing support of Lexus performance products and the UZ platform, we have finished this set of brackets to mount 4 piston LS460 / LS600h brake calipers to any USDM IS300 2000-2005!

    These brackets are ideal for those DIYers that are looking for an inexpensive option for brake upgrades. You keep your factory brake lines in this bolt-on solution; all you need is a set of front 2007-2018 LS460, LS460L, LS500, or LS600h fixed 4 piston brake calipers, LS460 fitment pads, and a set of 2008-2014 IS-F14" rotors!

    Although the roll center adjusters aren't mandatory, they provide a bolt on solution. You do not have to run them, though if you do not, you may need to modify the mounting hardware. They will improve the suspension geometry on lowered cars at any rate, so we highly recommend them.

    Please note that the LS460 does NOT use 5x114.3 rotors, so you will NOT be able to bolt on the LS460 rotor. We do not have fitment confirmation on the larger LS460 F-Sport 6 piston Brembo brakes, though they may also fit when used with larger rotors.

    Additionally, you will most likely need 18" wheels to fit over these. The only 18s we have found to not fit so far are some Enkei RPF1s and IS250/IS350 F Sport front wheels. We cannot make any promises on what else will not fit, however every other 18" wheel we have tried does fit over these brakes, including factory X-Runner wheels, Enkei NT03+, G35 Ray's wheels, etc.

    Please also note these will fit the S150 series hardtop Crown, not the Crown Majesta. The Majesta JZS155 will use our GS300 adapter brackets

    Pictures show the RWD K17 type caliper being used. The AWD N18 caliper has the same bolt pattern, but the caliper sits taller on the rotor. As such, the N18 version will not work with the IS-F rotor. You'll need to stick to the K17 type. We do not support the N18 caliper, so you will need to verify before installation. We also sell the K17 calipers brand new for a very affordable rate!

    Keep in mind these are designed for off road use only and professional installation is required. We have been driving on these kits for over 3 years, but use at your own risk.

  • What's Involved In Importing a JDM Car? & So Called "JDM Tax"

    It's not even just JDM tax. Here's a detailed version of the process:

    First, you see what cars are available at auction. Cars typically are inspected before being listed, so any potential issues, flaws, dents, rust, paint chips/flakes/problems, etc. are typically noted. They are by no means perfect and able to find/report all of the issues with the car, and typically there's only 2-4 small pictures of the car shown. Thousands of cars are listed every day, so you are at the mercy of the inspectors and their judgment of a particular car.

    The notes that are taken on the car will be posted up with the car on the listing, but then they also have to be translated. Sometimes extra parts are included, as the company auctions it exactly as the car was provided to them. Keep in mind that the legal cars to import are all 25 years old, which means they will have 25 years worth of mileage, wear and tear, and potential issues. Fortunately, Japan is far, far better about maintaining their vehicles than Americans are. 

    Another note is that the appraiser might not know the car inside and out. They might not be a passionate enthusiast, or know a particular model very well. They might not have an eye for specifics that might differentiate one car from the next. It is up to the buyer to know what they are looking at and what they get. XAT specializes in a very specific few models, as we know these cars well. We've been able to develop experience and knowledge for them, inside and out. As such, we only import the best models and versions of these cars (Celsior, Crown, Chaser, Century, Mark II, etc.)

    When you import cars, you have to pay whoever you get it from (usually an auction yard), sometimes storage, pay the broker to place the bid, make sure it's de-registered, get the export certificate, transport from the auction yard to the dock, dock for loading, transport to the USA, dock at USA for unloading, customs fees, then you either pay the dock for the privilege of picking up your own car, or pay a transport company to deliver it to your location. There are many steps in the process, and lots of different people involved in the logistics of getting it over here. Keep in mind you have also bought this car site unseen, and by the time it arrives, it might not be in as good shape as you expected. Most cars tend to look better in pictures, and your brain fills in the blanks. On average, it's typically 2-3 months from the time of winning the auction to actually getting the car in your possession. And that's if it's legal, not counting if you purchase a car that is not old enough yet, so it has to be stored in Japan first until it is.

    Now that you have the car, you then have to get it legal in your state. In FL, if it can drive under its own power, it's legal...sort of. We don't have emissions testing like other states do. For starters, it needs to be inspected by the state (different office than the normal DMV).

    So then you have to physically take it to one of just a few locations, most of which are not local. That means paying someone or trailering it to where it needs to be. We're lucky that it's "only" 40 minutes away for us. You cant legally drive it there for the inspection, as it has no insurance, no registration, no tag, etc. Driving it there illegally is incredibly risky, and could end up costing you the whole car!

    Now that it's there, it has to pass inspection. Your local DMV most likely is not set up for this, there's separate places that are. During inspection, you have to present the proper customs forms, which have to be filled out properly by the department of homeland security, US customs, EPA, the shipping company, the export certificate that confirms the car has been de-registered in Japan, a notarized copy of the translation of the Japanese documents, etc. This process requires advanced appointment, dealing with government employees that hate doing their job and are miserable to work with, and never less than 2-3 hours out of the day. This is for each and every single car.

    Once it passes, you have to go to your local DMV and obtain a IS title for it. VIN has to be registered, etc. It's a different process for JDM cars, as they don't have 17 digit VINs and they don't have stickers plastered over every door and body panel.

    You cant register/tag it without insurance, so you need to find an insurance company that will insure the car. Once it's insured, and you get the tag, THEN it's legal to drive.

    Just because it's legal doesnt mean it's road ready. XAT inspects each and every car thoroughly. We note any maintenance that has been done, and typically any maintenance that it might further need. Every car is meticulously detailed as well. I personally use a toothbrush and wet toothpick to clean all of the creases and body lines in between the bumpers, doors, around emblems, and even windows to get as much nasty gunk out as possible. We also wash every car with Toyota brand car soap (not even kidding), claybar every car, polish every car, shampoo/vacuum the carpet of every car, condition the leather of every car, and clean anywhere and everywhere that we can to restore every car to "almost new" status again! In many cases, air pollution will have given the car a slight brown haze, so we do our best to remove that as well. It may take 20 man hours for each car to be truly ready for sale.

    We dont import just any old JDM car that seems cool either. There are very specific particular models we target to bring over, and theyre always the best we can get, especially bang for the buck! For instance, with the 10th generation Crown, we do not bring over anything less than the 2JZ spec hardtop cars. The smaller sedan version with framed windows, we pay no attention to. We specifically target the earlier zenki models (1995-mid 1997) as they have the best platform to start with. Typically, we aim for Royal Touring 2JZ spec (with Toyota's first 5 speed automatic), or Royal Saloon G models, which include power rear seats, rear A/C, and nearly every other option from the factory.

    When it comes to Celsiors, we stick to a few specific trim levels, depending on what car someone might have in mind. The B type is the more "sporty" option, with active TEMS shocks and suspension, while the C type has a comfy air ride that can be raised or lowered with a controller. We also occasionally get the eR spec, (European style), which includes leather, sunroof, and Autobahn tuned springs, shocks, steering rack, upper arms, bushings, etc. While you may see similar JDM cars listed for sale, often for less money, they typically are missing some of the best options these cars came with. And that's what we provide our customers with.

    Another thing to consider: in Florida, you are only allowed to buy/sell 3 cars in any 12 month period without getting a dealer's license, which requires a brick and mortar location zoned for commercial etc. etc. That's an entirely separate process that has its own share of months and months worth of headaches.

    XAT Racing is FINALLY a car dealer once again. We have gone through the necessary legal process to be a legitimate car dealer legally. We've risked many thousands of our own dollars out of pocket just to start the process.

  • Upgraded 2JZ or 1JZ Alternator 1993-1998 155 Amps or 200 amp 2JZGTE 1JZGTE 2JZGE

    APPLICATION: 1993-1998 Supra 2JZGTE (Turbo), 1JZGTE, and 2JZGE (Non-Turbo), IS300, GS300, SC300, etc.

    PLEASE CHECK AND VERIFY (MATCH) THE PLUG YOU HAVE ON YOUR ALTERNATOR

    This alternator is 100% plug n' play, direct fit, with no adapters, spacers or rigging like other kits. This is not a Sequoia alternator, which does require modifications to fit.

    As you may know, the stock 1993-1998 Supra alternator provides 90amps/105amps (6sp/auto) of current flow at maximum output. When you install electric fan's, a cranking stereo system, and other electronic gadgets this presses the factory alternator to it's limits.

    In some situations with the air conditioner running, electric fans going, dual fuel pumps, and more, there is simply not enough current to keep the battery at a constant state of charge. If you mix-in a large current draw from car stereo amplifiers, your electrical system will stop producing enough current, voltages across the system which drop to the lower end of the scale, and major issues can (and will) happen!

    The last thing in the world you want is your aftermarket equipped 2JZGTE running big boost on multiple fuel pumps with all your other goodies on and then lose some current to the fuel supply! As Goose said to Maverick in Top Gun, "this is not good, Maverick."

    We have looked for quite some time for an upgraded alternator that was robust, had increased current capacity, good-looking, cost-effective and would fit properly in the 1993-1998 Toyota Supra! Well, good news is that we have just the units! Our 155amp HOT RATE alternator kit is now available. The alternators are tested HOT, which means the output is guaranteed during typical automobile standard conditions. Most every other manufacturer releases their current ratings COLD, which can change the current output vs. hot by 10-15% simply on resistance losses at higher temperatures.

    Fit and finish are excellent and it is a plug-n-play installation.

    These units do not require a core charge. We usually stock these, but even if out of stock, build-time is only 72 hours. Six month warranty.

    Our alternators are hot-rated, not cold-rated like all the other guys, which translates into, real-world amperage ratings.

    These units are completely re-manufactured from original units (see above bullets for highlights)internals rebuilt and then the magic begins. As with any alternator they produce current based upon the coil windings and rpm's. The coil windings is where the current capacity is created, so it is based upon the capacity of the wire and number of windings on the coil.

    Without over simplifying the process, we simply use a higher current (and more expensive) wire and provide additional windings inside the unit. The higher quality wire allows more current and heat to be handled, and the increase in quantity of windings increases the overall capacity. Then the internals are matched with higher capacity components for a matched-internal device with external results.

    Bottom-line: you get a re-manufactured alternator, designed to produce more clean current then the factory original.

    For 1JZGTE owners, this is NOT the 2JZGTE alternator, it is a 1JZ with the correct round 3 pin plug for the JZA70 Supra and is rated at ~140 AMPS. 50 more amps than you stock unit! If your 1JZGTE alternator is from a Soarer or Chaser, then please select the appropriate version from the drop down menu. 1JZ owners, please include what style connector your harness has, round or oval/rectangular

    We have done it again! Since 2009 XAT has worked to bring into service the much desired 4-piece metal head gasket for the 2JZGTE engine with a true STOPPER layer. As you know the factory 2JZ head gasket is quite robust, but there is nothing that holds boost like the STOPPER designs. The problem has always been that GReddy and HKS had a lock on this market and could charge what they want! We've been using this gasket in every 2JZ engine we've build for over a decade

    NOT ANY LONGER! We have available immediately modern 4-Layer Metal Head Gaskets 1.3mm thick with the proven STOPPER layer at an affordable price, and NOT made in an Asian country!

    Explanation for the difference between the 3-layer version, and this 4-layer, and the advantages. The 4 layer version allows for thinner layers, far improving heat dissipation as there are more layers to absorb the heat. Rigidity, durability and thermal transfer characteristics far exceed standard MLS head gaskets.

    How does the STOPPER layer work? The stainless steel .015mm thick STOPPER layer features a precision "fold" which encircles the cylinders creating an additional load point for the combustion chambers. In English??? The STOPPER layers STOPS combustion gasses from escaping in the best means possible, period!

    What about the top and bottom layers? They are active control layers are micro-embosses pre-coated steel that micro-seal engine fluids at the most disciplined level possible.

    The center layer? Made out of steel, precision manufactured with the main purpose to set an accurate overall thickness tolerance for the entire gasket. This ensures even distribution of pressure in the most accurate means possible.

    Is it...could it be?? The world's first JZS155 specific turbo kit?! OMG!

    We're huge fans of the 10th generation Toyota Crown here at XAT, especially the hardtop version with pillarless windows..and yes, we have a few of these cars. This kit includes everything you need to turbo your 2JZ-GE VVTi in your RHD Crown--no steering rack, downpipe, manifold, or wastegate issues here!

    Our kit has been developed entirely in house on one of our own JZS155 Crowns, specifically for 2JZ Crowns. Please note we cannot guarantee fitment on the Crown Majesta JZS155, as those are based off of the GS/Aristo JZS155 chassis, and might have slight differences in fitment. We have a customer making 558rwhp on this exact kit and bone stock internals!!

    Some of the many benefits of the "zenki" 95 to mid-97 Crowns are that they still have the same rods as the turbo 2JZGTE, cable throttle, and no MAF! An ECUMasters DET3 and some injectors will easily get you to 500+ HP!!

    The intercooler is rated for 700 HP, which is more than the turbo is capable of. So if you wanted to upgrade the turbo down the line, you still have room to do so. This kit is specifically built to make a mean street car with a very responsive turbo.

    The intercooler will replace your factory crash bar behind the bumper cover. There's only some minor clearancing recommended just below the stock grill (which is not visible with the bumper cover installed). We also weld a 90* compressor outlet elbow (included with the kit) directly to the turbo to make installation a very straightforward, bolt on install! The factory bumper cover does NOT need to be cut/modified, and the intercooler fits nicely between the frame rails! We're big fans of this style for that sleeper look.     Higher horsepower means more oil demand. When you're running twice or three times the stock power output, you absolutely have to be sure your engine is getting lubricated everywhere it needs to! Especially if you have an aftermarket oil cooler to keep oil temps down!

    What does XAT do to bring you options for a better oil pump? We take a brand new OEM GTE (not GE) Toyota pump, remove all hard edges, radius all corners, enlarge the front main seal drain, and shim the pressure relief valve to give more max PSI. Make sure you get a quality oil pump for your engine, from the professionals at XAT!

    In the pictures, you can clearly see some the upgrades we have made. Check out pictures where you can see the oil pressure relief piston polished for smoother operation, and more consistent oil pressures.

    There's plenty we do to greatly improve the oil flow without trying to "reinvent" the stock setup! The factory oil pump works well for factory applications, but there's clearly plenty of room for improvement, as we show here.

    Please note these are currently built to order with a roughly 6-8 week turnaround time. Sometimes quicker, sometimes 10-12 weeks. We can't currently make any promises and are doing our best to keep up.

    If you are running a V-band inlet turbo, please let us know which one so we can weld the correct flange to the manifold. We strongly suggest finding the correct flange and sending it in to us, since there's an assortment of different v-band flanges used on the market.

    Dual wastegate manifolds may need to be modified to fit your chassis/project


    For years people have been asking why you must pay $1200+ for a turbo manifold. While we appreciate it takes time to design and fabricate a manifold, it doesn't require a $1200+ price tag.

    Our goal was under $1000 for a world-class hand-made manifold for the Supra community, which we have been a part of longer than any business on the planet. We also include a 3 year warranty on all ProSeries exhaust manifolds sold!

    Our 304SS tig welded 2JZ exhaust manifold scavenges like none other on the market, with efficient runner designs and a proven collector, which fits smaller frame to mid frame turbos from Precision, Garrett, Borg Warner and more.

    They are finished in a brushed-stainless "raw-look", but we can ceramic coat them at extra cost, if that is what you require. They are robust, handle heat cycles correctly and are guaranteed to perform.

    The No. 1 runner is designed to provide maximum clearance for larger compressor cover turbochargers, while at the same time providing for an efficient overall layout. If you plan on running a larger turbocharger than an S300 series for instance, we also make a mid frame manifold instead.

    ProSeries turbo manifolds are offered in un-divided (standard) and divided for those wanting to run twin scroll turbos, as well as Quick Spool (QSV) and Borg Warner EFR Non-Gate designs.

    ProSeries turbo manifolds are hand-made in a jig (to offer consistency) and have amazing welds, and the fitment is outstanding. The standard sized runners are 1 5/8" inside diameter and utilize .080" wall thickness stainless.

    This design allows for higher velocity exhaust energy, while still maintaining significant flow. These manifolds perform outstanding up to 1250rwhp. We have multiples customers making power numbers over that level, and running 8 flat 1/4 mi times with our manifold.

    Inside Tubing Diameter: 1 5/8"

    Wall Thickness: .080" (2mm)

    If you require a TiAL, Precision, Turbosmart gate flange, or other branded V-band flange welded in (no 2 bolt or 4 bolt ones), this is available as an option in the drop down menu. Please let us know which wastegate you will be using.

    When no wastegate flange is selected you will receive the manifold with the standard length wastegate tube "open" to mount whatever you want.

    * Quick Spool Valve Turbo Manifolds are Available. Please see our other item listing for that specific version *.

    * Our 3-year no questions covers any manufacturing related defect, including all welds and through cracking. The no questions asked warranty is for the original purchaser only. Micro-cracking of external welds in heat-cycled stainless has no affect upon performance.

    Please be aware that there may be fitment issues with the dual gate setup in some cars. Although we can weld the wastegate flanges on by request, please note that we cannot guarantee fitment with your setup, as minor modification will most likely be needed.

    Fitment will also be very tight with the Mk3 Supra frame rails if installing in an A70 chassis. In most cases, you will have to modify the frame rails/chassis, as there's not much room for fitment regardless of manifold used. Very little persuasion is required, but this is inevitable with our manifolds as we make our manifolds to fit as many different chassis' as possible. You will be better off with slightly modifying the chassis than compromising manifold design.

    As with pretty much all tubular manifolds for these engines, you can expect to either modify existing mounting hardware or use the shorter hardware kit we offer. Again, the only way to feasibly make these manifolds with thick walls and proper runner design is to have a tight fit on the flange. This is much more preferable to compromising manifold design.

  • LQ9 2JZ Ignition Upgrade GM Coil On Plug Kit 2JZ-GE 2JZ-GTE

    Is your 2JZ having misfire issues at higher boost? Are you tired of constantly swapping out spark plugs and regapping them to ridiculously small levels?

    For those running higher boost we've found that our King Spark kit is the best overall solution for the issues mentioned above.

    We start with the very best OEM ignition coils ever made, bar none. These have supported well over 1000 rwhp on all sorts of different cars (including the fastest Mk3 Supra in the world) and can run with plenty of dwell. A great replacement for old failing stock ones!

    We provide everything you see in the photo's, mounting brackets, wiring with connectors, either tested used or new (your choice) and a set of solid instructions for the mounting and set-up of your LQ9 King Spark system.

    Optionally available is whats we've found to be one of the best plugs is our NGK Iridium spark plug (6 plugs). We supply these in -7 heat range, but other options are available if you have a specific preference.

    These are designed for resistor plugs only, do not use a non-resistor plug with the King Spark system. The standard plug being used is the NGK or equivalent BKR7E, but other options and heat ranges can be used depending upon your modifications, compression, fuel requirements, etc.

    If using an NGK you want a plug with the "R" in its nomenclature as this designates a 'resistor' plug.

    Minor wiring required, but with our detailed instructions this is a do-it-yourself proposition

    These fit perfectly in 2JZ-GTE and 2JZ-GE engines. 1JZ engines require some modification for them to fit in the valley.

    If you opt for the Iridium plugs, let us know which heat range you need as well


    Installation is not plug-and-play, but involves connection of only 8 wires to the igniter's two connectors. The igniter and the stock coil harness are eliminated. Installation instructions are included.

    Please note that the GE heads, both VVTI and the distributor types, require a front facing intake manifold to utilize these coils, as the middle two coils do not fit under the Y-pipe throttle body.

    If you have GTE valve covers on a GE head, the GE bracket will require longer standoffs to fit.

    If the kit is being installed on a JDM/Asian Supra or Aristo, A Tachometer adaptor such as the Dakota Digital SGI - 8 or MSD-8920 will be required to restore tachometer functionality, as the tach on these cars is driven from a high level output from the (deleted) igniter.

    These coils will work with the stock GTE ECU, but you would need an IGF box to synthesize the required IGF signal back to the ECU.Please note the coilpacks are NOT included with the base price

    Sometimes, it's the little things. These brackets are billet CNC machined for direct fit of the SpeedFactory front mount intercooler to your hardtop 10th gen Crown hardtop or sedan (fitment not confirmed for Crown Majesta).

    Keep in mind slight clearancing is required on of the support just above the intercooler. The intercooler is also meant to tilt forward on top slightly, as seen in pictures, which gives more room to work with the piping.

  • ARP 2JZ Head Studs 2JZGTE 2JZGE Head Stud Kit 1JZ 1JZGTE

    We can not express enough how much we recommend you purchase ARP products when working on your 2JZ head, regardless of power level goals. This ARP head stud kit is exactly what you need.

    First, your stock bolts that come with your Supra are made to stretch. They are technically called TTY (Torque To Yield) bolts. Toyota (and all manufacturers) put TTY bolts in a head when manufacturing the car because they are the cheapest bolts available, and when you are using millions of bolts in a year even 10 cents a bolt adds up. Once these bolts are installed the first time, they stretch because they are made to. Once they are in your car for years they become rather worn out. When you take them out of your head they are stretched and should be thrown away (same with flywheel bolts). Never re-use the original bolts in your head. If you do you'll be buying another head gasket in a matter of weeks.

    Second, ARP bolts and studs are rated by their tensile strength in PSI. Simply put, this is the amount of pressure that would be required in order for ARP hardware to sheer or snap. Although we can not rate a TTY bolt, we can estimate that their tensile strength is around 60,000 to 80,000 psi. All ARP hardware for the Supra is rated at an incredible 190,000 psi, about 3 times the strength of Toyota TTY bolts. All ARP hardware is made from a heat treated 8740 steel alloy.

As we've discovered, the LS460 brake kit combo requires a minimum of 18" wheel, and some 18"s also will not fit. It's easy to recognize the fast growing popularity of JDM vehicles we grew up loving now being imported, as we have a hand in doing that as well!

    This kit is specifically designed to use MkIV Supra TT rotors and is meant to match the front kit we also sell! Although we dont have a complete list of every wheel this kit will fit, if you suspect the LS460 kit may be too big for you, this is a terrific alternative, using OEM quality and Wilwood brand parts!

    This listing includes the brackets and hardware to mount. We give the option of piecing together the rest of the kit yourself, otherwise you will need all of the dropdown menu options for 100% bolt on. These may not be legal for normal road use in your jurisdiction. We recommend checking before purchasing.

    Fully delete your stock drum rear e-brake and run an independent hydraulic hand brake on your drift car! Excellent for those with Crowns, Mark IIs, Crestas, and Chasers with foot emergency brake setups that are looking to get sideways with a big upgrade!

    The caliper used is the factory rear 2 piston LS460 caliper from the non-sport, RWD cars. They are marked A16 in the casting. Be sure you have the correct ones!

    This kit works with both our rear Wilwood FSL rear upgrade kit. You will need to run our upgrade kit due to this using the larger Supra TT rear rotor. This will NOT fit a stock rear brake setup. You will also be replacing the factory drum e-brake entirely with this, so you will not be able to reuse that.

  • Toyota 2JZGTE Shimless Bucket Package (24 pieces)

    Please note we can get a full set of 24 of these, however it's going to take much longer (weeks) to get all the same bucket. Toyota doesnt like to ship out large quantities of the same part number of shimless bucket together, so if time is a factor, your best bet is to spread that over at least a few different part numbers

    When going all-in on a 2JZ cylinder head for a high rpm motor, weight savings at the bucket is very helpful. Shimless buckets are exactly that buckets that designed in various sizes which eliminate the shim and bucket used on the factory cylinder head. This listing is for a full set for a 2JZ.

    The weight savings is almost 50%, so that certainly helps when you get to 8,800 rpm+ motors. If you have not machined and done initial assembly on your head then you can save a lot of hassle and purchase shimless buckets that are all the same dimensions.

    In order to do this, which we recommend for every cylinder head, make sure whoever is building your head has a 'set valve height tip length'. If you take care of that, then since the tip lengths are all the same the buckets can all be the same.

    You will need to check your clearances and your order will require various buckets. Please let us know the sizes and quantity (you will need 24) in the comments section of the order form.

    In the first photo you see a shimless bucket (no shim, all one piece). In the second photo you see a standard 2JZ bucket with a removable shim. When building a standard head the shim sizes are varied and not the entire bucket like in a shimless design.

    Since the majority of the weight is in the shim itself, you eliminate that as well as reduced weight in the shimless bucket itself.

    Takes us between 3-4 days and a few weeks to ship, so plan your build accordingly.

  • 2JZGTE 2JZGE 1JZGTE Torque Plate Hone Plate Rental or Purchase

    XATRacing.com is now offering a 2JZGTE (also fits 2JZ-GE) torque plate for those that want to properly hone the cylinders on the 2JZ-GTE engine. It also fits the 2JZGE non-turbo blocks, as well as the 1JZGTE motors.

    Any serious engine builder will tell you, especially given the length of the inline 6 engine, that you need a torque plate in order to provide a similar stress pattern on the block that it experiences with the head on the block.

    Some builders even go as far as putting an old head gasket between the block and plate, then go through a standard Toyota pattern for torquing down the bolts.

    This is a precision machined torque plate, manufactured out of 2.0" (50.8mm) thick 6061 T6 aluminum (precision CNC'd by a large aerospace machine shop). Aluminum is chose as it best replicates stress and strain coefficients of expansion during torquing that the factory aluminum head does.

    It has an overbore that will allow for the largest hone/bore possible, so if you are building a stock bore or big bore, it isn't an issue.

    The bolt through-holes are clearanced for 1/2" (.500") head studs, which allows you the flexibility to run a factory diameter or 1/2" diameter head stud, all according to the factory head stud location. It is shipped in a sturdy container for protection.

    People charge up to $800 for these units, so we thought we can do it better and for less.

    You can expect it to ship next day typically, as we have one on the shelf at all times!

    A torque or honing plate is critical when doing the hone/bore process on any 2JZ engine build, especially those that will be running 30psi+ of boost and those running ARP head studs. Performance studs are typically torqued at much higher values than standard OEM studs, which causes a deflection in the cylinders if not using a torque plate.

    Machining Note: Prior to the machining process the torque plate should be secured to the block using the same amount of torque you intend to apply during final assembly of the head to the block. We are also offering a rental service to use the ARP head studs that can be shipped with the plate. If you go this option, you will also be charged $15 weekly to rent them, which we will subtract from the deposit once it is returned to us

    Why spend an extra $1,000-$3,000 more for a built short block, when we offer the exact same components (lets face it, everyone uses the same components) and many of the same machine shops everyone uses?

    Truth be told, not a single major Supra parts business has its own machine shop tools. Not one, us included. What we do have are machine shops (2) that have been machining 2JZ motors for years, so once we understand the application of the engine (race only, fast street car, etc), then we machine the block with the tolerances required.

    We assemble and meticulously build each motor in-house. All our tolerances are checked and then double-checked. Crank has already been confirmed rotationally during high-speed final balancing.

    Pistons weighed, rods weighed. We cannot describe everything we do in a simple listing, but suffice it to say, it's a comprehensive build. Rings are hand filed, and all torque settings done using SnapOn instruments kept in spec. You end up with a professionally assembled engine ready for install.

    2JZGTE/2JZGE engines that have been prepped for power with forged pistons, ARP hardware, micro-polished and chamfered OEM crankshafts, machined using state-of-the-art equipment, and custom 2JZGTE specific billet torque plates are what our customers demand. We can do 1JZs, too!

    On top of this, Supra owners want to make sure the engines are proven, cost-effective (budget minded) and available for quick turn around times.

    We start with a thoroughly inspected 2JZGTE bottom end, which is inspected and cleaned, prior to being selected for fitment of quality components.

    The engines are then machined using a custom built billet torque plate (we have our own torque plates), so the engine stays "square and true" during machine work and prep for new forged pistons.     As a great supplement to our turbo kits, we commissioned these hand made in the USA patch adapter wiring harnesses to plug in to the ECU Masters DET3 (Digital Engine Tuner 3) piggyback system, as well as the factory JDM 95-97 JZS155 hardtop Crown ECU and harness.


    We're huge fans of the Crown at XAT, having brought over around a dozen by now. This terrific platform yearns for a turbo setup! Since a standalone ECU is not ideal for everyone or every build, we now offer this alternative that keeps all factory functions and drivability of your 2JZ VVTi Crown, but lets you fine tune further and swap out injectors for when youre ready for more power!

    We strongly recommend going this route in conjunction with our turbo kit. You will be limited to wastegate pressure and low boost on the kit, unless you upgrade injectors/fuel system and go with a tunable ECU.

    There's a number of brake pad options out there with different compounds and capabilities. We've found the best all around option and have been using these since our very first kit in 2019.

    These pads are great for all uses: street, strip, race, drift, highway cruising, etc. Theyre dead quiet in all conditions and have great feel.

    All of our JZ engines are only getting older! If you have not replaced your factory water pump when changing the timing belt, you certainly should. If you are rebuilding (or for that matter, building) a new motor, please change the pump!

  • OEM Crown Fender Lights JZS155 JZS151 Front Corner Markers

    Direct genuine OEM Toyota replacement fender lights! We've seen these installed on other cars as well for effect. In front end collisions, these can easily get damaged, so having an extra set doesn't hurt!

    Using some sort of fiber optic magic, these hide a small bulb and point the light backwards at the driver, so it's not visible from all angles, and less so during the day. The amount of thought put into these is impressive!

    These are specific to the 150, but will also fit other cars as well, including the Crown Comfort and 150 series Crown Majesta. We suspect the Century may have used them as well, just with different length wire

  • Fluidampr 2JZ Crank Pulley Harmonic Balancer Dampener Damper Crankshaft 1JZ 2JZGTE 2JZGE Lexus Toyota Supra SC300 GS300 IS300 Soarer Crown Aristo

    Fluidampr Engine Dampers are designed to control destructive vibrations which are transfered thru the crankshaft. 

    Each time the air/fuel mixture inside a cylinder is ignited, the combustion that occurs creates a torque spike that is applied to the crankshaft through the piston and rod. This torque spike is so severe that it not only turns the crankshaft, it actually twists the crankshaft ahead of its normal rotation and then the crankshaft rebounds. This twisting action is known as torsional vibration. When these torque spikes and forces get into phase with the natural frequency, critical torsional harmonic vibrations occur and can be seriously destructive to the bearings and the crankshaft. Dampers are designed to control those destructive vibrations. 

    Critical harmonic vibrations occur numerous times in a engine’s operating range. Stock rubber and elastomer-type dampers are frequency sensitive “tuned absorbers”, and work at only one critical frequency. In the case of a stock rubber damper, it is tuned for a factory engine’s critical harmonic vibrations. If you change the mass of pistons, rods, or the crankshaft, you change the natural frequency of the crankshaft assembly; therefore, the stock damper is no longer tuned to the new frequency of vibration, and you may be headed for early failure of expensive engine components. Dampers also create heat while they work, and rubber is a poor dissipator of heat. This heat and the exposure to the elements deteriorates rubber, causing it to crack and change durometer, which then leads to inertia ring slippage, damper failure, uncontrolled torsional vibration, and costly engine parts breakage.

    Manley "H" Beam connecting rods are manufactured from 4340 forgings to the same exacting standards developed and approved by our original equipment customers. There is a vast difference in quality between a Manley "H" Beam and the "other" inexpensive H-Beams on the market. Weight matched to +/- 1.5 grams. Perfectly round big and small ends. Bend and twist is tightly controlled. Cap fasteners are 3/8" ARP 2000 for the "H" Beam and "H tuff", and 3/8" ARP Custom Age 625+ for the H-Tuff Plus.

    Manley Pro Series "i-beam" connecting rods are forged from aircraft quality 4340 vacuum degassed material. Each rod is fully machined in the Manley Lakewood, NJ factory to the highest standards.   • BC Brian Crower 2JZ Head Gasket 1.3mm Made in Japan

    BC gaskets are made in Japan and deliver the ultimate sealing capability even at extreme boost pressures. Individual die cut layers of stainless steel with superior consistency compared to other leading gaskets. These inferior brands are constructed with too high profile of beads which is prone to fatigue, losing the spring effect in a relatively short period of time and consistency of sealing pressure, resulting in leakage. BC gaskets are pre-coated stainless steel with a 0.2 micron consistent layer of Nitrile rubber that completely fills the cylinder head surface. Even a newly resurfaced cylinder head and/or block has a surface finish or roughness between 10 to15 microns and this Nitrile rubber completely seals the surfaces at operating engine temperatures, unlike the FKM type which is not suitable for filling the surface roughness because the material has too high of heat resistance. Basically the FKM does not melt to fill into the surface roughness providing the proper seal.

    BC crankshafts are made from the finest, aerospace grade 4340 steel billet material. CNC machined on state of the art, 5 axis Mazak Integrex 300-IV CNC machines to exacting tolerances (.0001"). Every crankshaft features large radius journals that add rigidity for high horsepower, high boost, high rpm applications. Gun drilled, CNC ground oil holes feature a smooth surface for extra oiling, tear dropped for added oil scoop, cross drilled for priority main feeding to the rods and micro polished to a mirror finish for optimum bearing lubricity. All cranks are stress relieved, shot peened, magna flux inspected and nitrided (multi step heat treatment) for ultimate performance.   • SupraSport 1JZ 2JZ Engine Girdle Kit with optional Custom Age CA625+

    The girdle kit includes required ARP hardware, and fits any 1JZ or 2JZ engine, GE or GTE! What is it for? A girdle will remove 'swing' in the main caps. The swing in the block will be most in the middle of the engine. The girdle will also act as a partial windage tray. This girdle is compatible with all 1J and 2J engines and all sump types.

    If you are using the OEM main caps, the girdle will rest on them. Your engine shop/builder should machine the provided spacers to the exact same height. If using billet main caps, you can let the girdle kit have a tiny amount of space from the caps, but spacers may still require modification to fit.

    We have confirmed fitment with Titan and Induction main caps. Some minor milling may be required on the caps as well as spacers to fit the girdle properly.

    If you are building an ultra high horsepower 1000rwhp+ 2JZGTE engine, then you want the Titan billet main caps, which provide the ultimate in bottom end bearing support and longevity. Run by most every major engine team and privateer in the world.

    The Titan billet main caps are available through us for less than anyone including the manufacturer.

    Fitment: All 2JZ 1JZ engines, including GE and GTE, non-VVTi and VVTi

    If you plan on making 1200hp+ or you want to spin the motor to 9,000 rpm+, then we suggest going with billet main caps. These are far more robust than factory caps and will keep the crank in place under big power or high rpm.

    In order to install the billet main caps, they need to be torqued properly in the block and machined in a process called line boring. Line boring can be done by any fully equipped shop with the proper line boring set-up.

  • XAT 2JZ 1JZ Single Turbo Oil Line Feed and Drain Kit

    Please note this kit is a direct fit for rear sump engines. If you have a front sump application (IS300, GS300, Crown, S13, S14, etc.) or are using the extended oil drain, you will need to shorten the drain and use a new fitting for the hose end. We have that as a dropdown menu option

    1JZ/2JZ single turbo oil line kit for T series turbo, custom made in house! Includes everything pictured plus gasket for the turbo drain, 12mm to -3 adapter for the block oil outlet, and a rear oil outlet block-off. This means a -3 oil feed for the turbo and a -10 drain line. We recommend the -4 version for Borg Warner AirWerks turbos (S300, S400, etc.) as well as the EFR series. The EFR series of turbos has a -4 oil inlet built into the CHRA, whereas Precision turbos typically are over-oiled with -4 lines and should run a -3 instead.

    This is the highest quality kit on the market, utilizing aircraft grade hoses, and performance custom built 6061 T6 aluminum flanges.

    Since we do not use crimp-on fittings, we can also easily alter the length of the drain! This is ideal for those that want to make life easier for themselves and run an extended turbo oil drain. If you order the extended drain, we will make the drain line accordingly.

    The very same line we are using in our custom 2JZ-GE Crown JZS155 turbo kits! This will fit all JZ engines receiving boost for the first time and supplies the turbo of your choice with much needed oil.

    -3 or -4 feed , sandwich adapter plate, simple and effective.

    The optional drain line kit we supply is premade for a rear sump oil pan. If you have a front sump pan (JZS155 Crown, IS300/Altezza, Aristo/GS300), you will need to shorten the drain line and use the hose end we supply to have proper fitment with it.

  • XAT 2JZGE Crown Turbo Manifold 1JZGE VVTi Altezza IS300 Aristo GS300

    Because of poor fitment of other manifold options on the market, we decided to develop a new exhaust manifold specifically for our JZS155 hardtop Crowns! This manifold puts the turbo in just the right position to not interfere with the throttle Y-pipe that goes over the engine, so you can retain the stock intake manifold still. Larger turbo setups may require further modifications, which you can expect with larger turbo setups anyways.

    304 stainless steel, 2mm thick runners, 1 5/8" runner ID and a 3 year warranty!

    Please note that while we try to keep the T4 version in stock, there may be a 4-6 week wait time for them to be custom made.

    This fits 1JZGE VVTi heads, but not 1JZGE non-VVTi heads, which are unique and do not have an interchangeable bolt pattern. Turbo and turbo kit not included with this listing, but we can build you one!

    Wastegate piping is included, however the base manifold does leave off the flange for you to weld the matching flange for your wastegate. We also keep in stock flanges for the most popular wastegates, so we can include and/or weld that up for you!

    These bearings are better then factory, because they maximize oil flow to the rod bearings! Both rods and mains have high crush for maximum retention, and a reduced overlay thickness to prevent overlay fatigue, sometimes referred to as hen tracking. Rod bearings use a hardened steel back for added strength and resistance to fretting. We have used these on 90% of our engine builds for over a decade now

  • XAT Plug n Play Link ECU to Crown Adapter Harness JZS155 Hardtop

    As a great supplement to our turbo kits, we commissioned these hand made in the USA patch adapter wiring harnesses to plug in to the Link Storm G4Xas well as the factory JDM 95-97 JZS155 hardtop Crown ECU and harness.


    We're huge fans of the Crown at XAT, having brought over around a dozen by now. This terrific platform yearns for a turbo setup! Since a complete standalone ECU is not ideal for everyone or every build, we now offer this alternative that keeps all factory functions (such as the auto transmission) and drivability of your 2JZ VVTi Crown, but lets you fine tune further and swap out injectors for when youre ready for more power! 

    We strongly recommend going this route in conjunction with our turbo kit. You will be limited to wastegate pressure and low boost on the kit, unless you upgrade injectors/fuel system and go with a tunable ECU.

  • PHR Stainless Freeze Plug Set for 1JZ/2JZ Engine Block

    Kit Includes:

    (11) 35mm freeze plugs

    (2) 25mm freeze plugs

    Leaky freeze plugs can be a serious pain in the ass on brand new builds.

    If you are building a motor, you know cleaning the coolant passages decently requires removal of the factory freeze plugs. Reinstalling the stamped steel Dorman or OEM plugs sucks. Even being very careful they easily warp or damage edges of the holes. And there is nothing worse than having to pull apart a brand new build to repair a stupid freeze plug.

    These new billet freeze plugs eliminate that problem. They have an aligning minor diameter to square up the plug for the initial press start. Then press in easily and firmly by simply tapping them in with a hammer. There is a shoulder on the outside edge that you can apply FIPG or silicone to to ensure it will be perfectly sealed even beyond the press seal, and the should assures it to be installed perfectly square at at the perfect depth.

    Not to mention, they are threaded in the center to be easily removed for block cleaning and are totally reusable and transferable to a different block.

    Machined from stainless steel, so they will never rust and give the block a great look.

  • Used 2JZGE VVTi Engine

    Please contact us for an accurate shipping quote to your location!

    What's the best 2JZ engine to start with when doing a 2JZ swap? Did you guess 2JZGE VVTi? If not, you guessed wrong. Long story short, it's the best platform to start with. Newer, more common, much more affordable, VVTi, no distributor, etc.

    Our engines are pulled usually from a GS300 or IS300. There is typically a 1 month warranty on the engine's internals. Accessories are not covered under this warranty, including alternator, A/C compressor, water pump, etc. The warranty is so you know you're starting with a good used engine...keep in mind they are still used, and regular maintenance would be wise before proceeding.

    For the price of a stock used pull out 2JZGTE, you could have a fully built with brand new forged internals 2JZGE and get much better results. We've sold full 2JZGTE engines for over $12,000 now; people really want to buy that T in the name!

    We find it amazing that even more than a decade later, people are still repeating the same, wrong information. For instance, that there was never a 2JZGE VVTi engine made with turbo rods..however, every Crown we import comes from the factory equipped with a 2JZGE VVTi engine and turbo rods.

    Here's another fact: installing a turbo manifold on a GTE engine is a pain. You dont hear that one too often, but it's been true for decades. Because of the bolt pattern and port spacing on the head, compromises have to be made either in the installation hardware (see our short studs/nuts install kit) or in the runner design.

    "Okay but all of the early 2JZGE non-VVTi engines had turbo rods" - this is true. And they also had a distributor, which gets in the way of installing a turbo setup. Plus, they dont have the better 36-2 tooth resolution crank trigger wheel. Theyre also older engines, which means more likely to have more mileage/wear/tear.

    "Okay but the 2JZGE engines didnt have oil squirters" - If youre building a boosted car with forged internals, this is not necessarily a problem. Oil squirters dont work as well on forged pistons as cast pistons. PHR even makes an oil squirter block off kit for GTE engines, as that will keep oil where it needs to be; at the engine bearings and bearing surfaces, not spraying willy nilly under the piston.

    "Okay but the 2JZGTE has a place for the oil drain already in the oil pan" - so do the GE engines. They share the same casting, so it's literally as easy as drilling out the existing hole provision and installing the drain.

    "Okay but VVTi is more complicated and makes tuning more difficult" - This may have been true 15+ years ago. There have been multiple generations of ECUs that have come and gone with the capability to control VVTi. It's 2 wires, not rocket surgery. Many boosted VVTi cars will still keep the factory ECU to control VVTi, gauge cluster, ABS, throttle, etc. anyways. There's a reason all new engines have some form of variable valve timing control, and that's because among other things, it helps gas mileage and gives a wider powerband.

    "Okay but my buddy said the GTE is better" - has your buddy been actively building and providing parts to the community for over 15 years? Or did he just read what someone said on facebook, or on a forum 20 years ago?

  • JS Alternators Supra 2JZ 250 or 320 amp Alternator 6 phase hairpin

    For those that need more electricity than our 200 amp option can provide, we have teamed up with JS Alternators to offer these custom made to order options! Even better, theyre plug and play, no adapter wiring needed!

    JS Alternators also requires their universal Big 3 wiring kit, or otherwise similar wiring upgrades in addition to the factory wiring in order to handle the higher output. The big 3 Wiring upgrade is an ADDITION to your factory wiring.
    All factory connections need to remain connected. For protection, it is recommended to add an in line fuse to the positive wire. All grounds must be cleaned to bare metal and properly secured.

    Big 3 wires are 1/0 gauge pure copper cables. 1 positive to connect from the positive stud on the alternator to the positive battery terminal. Other 2 ground wires go from the alternator mount bolt to frame/chassis, and negative on the battery to frame/chassis.

    Most JS Alternators are custom built to order and typically take 5-15 business days to be built and shipped. All JS alternators have a lifetime warranty on labor, and 1 year warranty on parts.

    Hairpin units are commonly called 6 phase. They produce more output at idle and are more efficient than a conventional alternator. JS Alternators hairpin units feature premium bearings to withstand high engine rpm and utilize dual plate rectifier with 12 heavy duty diodes for improved cooling. Hairpin Units are a more reliable alternator to withstand high heat, high demand for car audio, marine, and racing applications.

  • PHR One Piece Billet Timing Belt Crank Drive Gear for 2JZ

    Powerhouse Racing has always been on the top of the world in creating solutions to common problems that occur with the 2jz engine. One common issue is the timing pickup will often separate from the main timing belt gear and spin independently of the timing gear, causing a trigger/sync error. This will cause running and timing problem. As a solution, they have built a one-piece gear to so that you would never have to face this issue.

    Rather than welding the factory gear (which typically ends up messy), PHR has made the move to CNC a single-piece steel timing gear to offer an even stronger product. Zinc plated to prevent corrosion.

    **NOTE FOR VVTi*** A 2JZ utilizing the VVTi system has a different timing gear with 36-2 tooth setup. It is a single piece and does not suffer from the same potential seperation issues. Meaning you may not need to change the gear on a VVT-i setup. However, the teeth on the VVTi version are brittle and do commonly break, so they have developed a billet version. It also has more defined edges which can provide a cleaner signal. 

    Some racers choose 36-2 for more resolution on their timing signal even on a non vvti setup. If youre running a standalone ECU, we strongly recommend swapping over to the VVTi's 36-2 tooth gear for the same price and getting a better read/signal for your computer!

    Please contact us about availability as it does sometimes fluctuate. Both the header and the midpipe have inconsistent wait times. Lately the midpipe has not been available. Some modification may be required around the engine mount. Typically takes about 1 week to ship out.
