    CP makes some of the finest pistons you can run in your SR20! It is the only piston that XAT uses in built engines, when we don't build with JE instead. The factory piston is "good," but will melt away with detonation and high boost, making it a danger to a high output engine. The CP forged piston can withstand the abuse that can be dealt out by high horsepower engines. They're incredibly resistant to fatigue and detonation that can happen at high rpm's and high boost.     Official release has finally arrived for the Nissan CD trans (from the Nissan 350Z and 370Z) to JZ engine adapter (all 1JZ, 2JZ-GE, and 2JZ-GTE engines)! While currently the adapter, TOB kit, and multi-plates clutch solutions are the only items released for this package, we are now working on a complete SC/Mk4 and IS300/Altezza install kit. Expect a few months max while we configure the kit and ramp up production for the additional items that we will have to produce.

    Clutch options: As of right now, we have twin disc (7.25" or 8.5") and triple disc (7.25" only) QuarterMaster clutches currentlyavailable. We are working on a single disc solution still. The single disc options will be "off the shelf" Nissan 300ZX turbo clutches (90-96), however they will require a proprietary flywheel. This flywheel is slated to be completed near the end of May. In either case, you will need the Quarter Master QMI or RAM T56 internal slave cylinder/hydraulic throw out release bearing.

    With this adapter, you will use an internal hydraulic throw out bearing/slave cylinder (optionally included with the kit, as well as hardware) and the 1JZ to R154 bellhousing (not included, optional extra).

    In most cases, you will most likely not have to do any clearancing of the chassis, as you will need to cut off the Nissan bell housing (non-removeable/non-serviceable) and replace the front cover with this adapter and the JZ-R154 bell.

    The JZ-R bellhousing we supply is BRAND NEW from Toyota and includes shipping in the lower 48 states! These typically ship within a week of ordering, and will likely ship separately. Please contact us if you are located elsewhere in the world for a shipping quote on the bellhousing. We will likely ship it together with the kit once the kit is finished.

    We are working on both single disc clutch options as well as twin disc clutch options with our QuarterMaster custom clutches. Expect a few of our SupraStore project cars to be equipped with these as well!

    This will fit all versions of this transmission (CD001, CD003, CD005, CD008, and CD009), both 350Z and 370Z. Regardless of if yours has an internal or external slave cylinder setup (Nissan swapped to an internal later on), you will use our kit parts to make it easy and simple. This transmission has been proven to handle over 1000rwhp without opening it up!

    If you are building a High HP VQ, aftermarket forged rods are a must. For most builds, the Eagle rods are perfect as they will take serious abuse and keep things straight in the rod department. Eagle H-beam rods:  Full set of x6 4340 steel connecting rods, balanced to within +/- 1 gram, and 3/8 ARP2000 rod bolts. Or CA625+ for those hardcore.

    So according to the Eagle site, the ARP2000 version is rated for 1500 HP and the CA625+ version is rated for 0HP. From our experience, we'd stick to around 600rwhp on the ARP 2000 rods and 1200+ HP on the CA625+ set. These are made for your favorite VQ35DE engine, whichever chassis it may have been built for!

    Eagle rods have been performing flawlessly in street and strip engines for years. There proprietary forged H-Beam design is not only one of the strongest designs available, but its one of the lightest also. Being able to rev quickly is the major advantage of this H-Beam rod.     This is the perfect solution for those looking to add more seat pressure for higher revs and larger cams in the UZ engine (non-VVTi and VVTI versions included).

    This single wound spring will work perfect with the factory retainer and keepers. Coil bind is an immense 550 thousandths. We also have an option to include titanium retainers for a non-VVTi 1UZ. Please note that we currently only have BC retainers for the non-VVTi 1UZ engines. The springs will fit the VVTi and 2UZ engines, however you will either need to reuse the factory retainers, or use the (recommended) full SuperTech kit instead. Please see below for that listing.
