  • XAT Racing 8.5" Twin Disc Plate Clutch Kit 1UZ JZ CD009 V160 R154 etc

    This is a complete kit, with twin disc clutch assembly, install kit (ARP flywheel bolts, clutch hardware), button flywheel, and spacer as needed. 

    Which engine? Which transmission? All of them! 

    We have a version for your UZ engine, with Z33 / Z34 trans, R154, V160, or W58! The twin disc is recommended for 800rwhp cars for street/drift/endurance. The sintered metallic compound is one of the highest quality materials for clutches. This clutch has slots between the segments to help cool the clutch easier, and extra thick padding to last through an extreme amount of abuse! 

    All feedback for this clutch from our many customers over the years has been overwhelmingly positive. Clutch pedal isnt overly aggressive, it can still slip for street driving, yet has no problem holding gobs of power. Here at XAT, we often measure power in gobs. This kit holds "many" gobs. This is the 8.5 inch version we recommend most for street driven cars.

    The starter gear includes the ring gear needed to start the car. The much smaller button flywheel has much less rotating mass to deal with and works very well, but has no starter motor engagement. The base kit includes the button flywheel, with an option to have a full size flywheel and clutch combo. The assembled RaceLite clutch and flywheel weighs 22 lbs 14 oz.

    If this is your first time with an XAT clutch conversion, you will need the starter gear as well. Otherwise you can opt for the RaceLite flywheel instead and not need the starter gear or the button flywheel. You should be using a 3/4" master cylinder in tandem with the TOB we use.

    Pauter Billet 4340 X-Beam Connecting rods for the Toyota/Lexus 4.0, 4.3, and 4.7 V8s (1UZFE, 2UZ-FE, 3UZ-FE) engines are precision CNC-machined from the finest 4340 forgings available. Each rod is heat-treated to Rockwell C36 and then full-coverage shotpeened. The rods are then end to end balanced in sets and then final sized on the big and small ends. Each rod comes standard with ARP 2000 bolts rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength and aluminum-bronze wrist pin bushing. Each set comes complete with (8) rods and (16) rod bolts. Good for over 200 HP per rod!

  • Tweak'd Full Engine 1UZ Wiring Harness Universal Race Car UZ V8 2UZ 3UZ

    These are custom made to order. Expect to send in your original harness, and minimum of 10 week wait time.

    Finally, a full harness for your V8 swap to make things much easier! We've done more than a few over the past decade, and now we're teaming up with the renown Dr. Tweak to offer a top shelf harness and their lifetime warranty! 

    These harnesses are all custom made for each individual application, so in many cases, we will need a core harness to start with. Expect to need to send in your UZ harness, as well as your intended chassis' factory engine harness, depending on which it is. Connectors typically do not get reused from the original harness'; we just need them to verify connector type and length as the UZ engines have a variety of harness differences depending on year and chassis.

    Please contact us and let us know directly what your application will need regardless, and we'll be happy to get another UZ powered vehicle out there tearing it up!! As of right now, we only have support for automatic transmissions if you run the factory ECU for them. 

    Standalone applications will require a dual ECU setup in most newer 1998+ chassis'. On Toyotas specifically, the factory chassis ECU gets retained for MultiPlex compatibility, meaning the factory ECU will control the A/C, gauge cluster, throttle, auto transmission, ABS, etc. Feel free to reach out to us with what your swap is and we can make sure you get the right price and harness for your application!

    For this setup, XAT started completely from scratch, as nothing beats a purpose built billet part from the ground up! As we continue to partner up and offer more and more options for the increasingly popular Nissan 350Z/370Z 6 speed-known to handle over 800 HP at the wheels without opening it up, we continue to bring custom bespoke and billet parts to replace the aged V160 and R154 options. 

    These Nissan trannies have been proven that they are a stout and reliable trans that is inexpensive, readily available, and will be for many years to come. Although the early years proved to be troublesome with the CD001, CD003, and CD005 transmissions, by the CD008 and CD009 revisions, shifting has been improved, smoothed out, and solidified. The newer JK40C 370Z transmissions are also reported to have the same internals carried over from the CD009. 

    This will fit all versions of this transmission: CD001, CD003, CD005, CD008, CD009, JK41A, JK41B, JK40C, 1EA0A, and 1EA0B Our light weight flywheel is infinitely rebuildable with replaceable friction surface disc, and at just under 14 lbs, it feels right at home both on the street and at the track. Flywheel bolts get torqued to 80 ft lbs. Dont forget to do so in a cross pattern! Single disc clutch options will be anything "off the shelf" that fits the 300ZX turbo (Z32).

  • XAT 1UZ Torque Hone Plate XAT EXCLUSIVE 2UZ 3UZ

    XAT Racing is now offering a UZ engine torque plate (fits all 1UZ, 2UZ, and 3UZ engines) for those that want to properly hone the cylinders on their Toyota/Lexus V8s. It fits all UZ engines with factory sleeves. Any serious engine builder will tell you that you need a torque plate in order to provide a similar stress pattern on the block that it experiences with the head on the block. Some builders even go as far as putting an old head gasket between the block and plate, then go through a standard Toyota pattern for torquing down the bolts/studs. This is a precision machined torque plate, manufactured out of 2.0" (50.8mm) thick 6061 T6 aluminum (precision CNC'd by our own machine shop). Aluminum was chosen, as it best replicates stress and strain coefficients of expansion during torquing that the factory aluminum head does. It has an overbore that will allow for plenty of room for honing and boring as possible, so if you are building a setup with stock or slightly larger bore, you won't have an issue. It is shipped in a sturdy container for protection. These are quite possibly the only ones on the market anywhere, so instead of charging up to $800-plus for these units, we thought we would bring it to the market for a reasonable price!! You can expect one it to ship next day typically, as we have one on the shelf at all times! These are available for shipment outside the USA if required as well!     A torque or honing plate is critical when doing the hone/bore process on any engine build, especially those that will be running a boosted setup and ARP head studs. Performance studs are typically torqued at much higher values than standard OEM studs, which causes a deflection in the cylinders if not using a torque plate.

    Please note the $78 rental is for 1 week, which starts from the day you receive the plate. If you need it longer, we will prorate the charge out of the refund for each week after. You may be better off purchasing it outright if you end up needing it for more than a week or two.

    XAT Racing leads the world in Toyota/Lexus V8 parts! One of the most important and integral upgrades when squeezing more power out of the UZ engines is to go with better fasteners. We've developed a custom kit (not just reused other kits) to give your V8 a bit more room to work with safely, especially if you plan on boosting it!

    What's important about these ARP studs? The factory bolts are torque to yield, meaning they are purposefully stretched after one use, and cannot be safely reused. These ARP studs can be used countless times in multiple engine builds, provided they are not stretched.

    Studs also give you a more solid clamping force over bolts. Check out the excerpt from ARP's catalog for an explanation we have in the pictures! 

    For those looking to run more boost, more power, or just want added safety, we have also developed an ARP2000 version of our head stud kits! The added tensile strength of the ARP2000 material lets you torque the studs down further, giving you even more protection from lifting the heads and/or blowing a head gasket.

    Please note that you may have to shave 2 of the head studs down for each head a small amount for the scissor gears for the cams. This is most commonly an issue with non-VVTi 1UZs

  • XAT Racing Billet CD009 Adapter Plate for 1UZ to Nissan 6 Speed 2UZ 3UZ

    When we took a look at the previous generation of adapter plates, all we could see was room for improvement and higher quality. We wanted a plate that would mount PERFECTLY with zero slop. It needed to look good and perform even better. DON'T get stuck with an overvalued, sloppy plate that ends up costing you input shafts and has poor fitment. You can go with a less expensive alternative and end up with broken parts, or you can do it right the first time with us! No complaints with over 5 years of service.

    This billet aluminum adapter plate reuses your automatic 1UZ, 2UZ or 3UZ bellhousing. (U1 or U2 from the 4 speed and 5 speed autos. 3UZ 6 speed bellhousing will not fit). It will require you to cut off the CD009 bellhousing, which gives MUCH more room to work with in most chassis. Alignment of the input shaft becomes dependent on this plate and not the quality of the bell housing cut, so worry not! This isn't like other kits out there. This will also fit 2UZs, though the kit was designed to use the U1 bellhousing specifically.

    Regardless of which clutch you use, you will need to use the Quarter Master throw out bearing. 

    With single disc clutch setups, this kit is designed to use our custom flywheel that uses off the shelf "Z32 turbo" (89-96 Nissan 300ZX twin turbo) clutches, which are inexpensive, readily available, and hold power well. 

    Please see the listing below for the flywheel needed. Please note that with a single disc clutch, this requires a proprietary flywheel. OUR "OEM STYLE" AND "LIGHTWEIGHT" XAT FLYWHEELS WILL NOT WORK WITH THIS TRANSMISSION. You will need the specific CD009 flywheel made for this application.

    The twin disc setups include their own flywheel, but will also need a ring gear for the starter (the OEM auto flex plate)

    XAT Racing took a hard look at the concept, and decided to go all in with the "Toyota Small-Block" design. These V8s have started becoming overwhelmingly popular over the past few years! This will fit all versions of this transmission: CD001, CD003, CD005, CD008, CD009, JK41A, JK41B, JK40C, 1EA0A, and 1EA0B from the 2003-2008 Nissan 350Z/Fairlady Z, 2009-2020 370Z, Skyline V35 and V36 non-GTR sedan and coupe, and Infiniti G35 and G37 

    Our products are CAD designed with OEM blocks and transmissions on professional equipment by industry professionals. No bad measurements, no flame cuts, no warped discs, no nonsense. You should be using a 3/4" master cylinder in tandem with the TOB we use.

    This is the missing link for doing the 1UZFE, 2UZFE, or 3UZFE swap, or simply adding a manual transmission to your already existing UZ powered vehicle (LS400, SC400, and GS400 included). Our CNC process for manufacturing the plate results in an extremely precise adapter plate, laser tight tolerances, and a focus on quality that has yielded a product that will produce less wear on the transmission and clutch. The kits being sold by our "competition" are routinely a few thousands off and have sloppy fitting dowel pin holes. We have even seen competitor's products first hand being warped right out of the box! The adapter kits come with the needed pilot adapter and bushing as well. This is the tried and true kit from XAT Racing, except no imitations when it comes to 1UZs..

    You can also use the less expensive RAM throw out bearing with this kit, however we do not support it. You will need to drill and tap the plate at your own risk to mount one.

    You may also need other manual conversion parts, depending on your chassis. Please keep in mind you may need to use a 3/4" bore master cylinder with this kit. The factory master cylinder may be enough, however it will ultimately depend on your application. The majority of Toyota car manuals have a 5/8" bore master. The optional master cylinder we provide may require further chassis modification to bolt up to your firewall.

    The GKTech shifter is great for relocating the shifter fit Lexus SC fitment and MkIV Supra fitment. Should also fit other applications as well, though that will depend on the chassis you're using and where the engine is mounted

    This is the most aggressive single disk clutch kit from SPEC for manual transmission swapped 1UZ, 2UZ, and 3UZ Toyota/Lexus V8 engines, with a holding power of 670 ft.lbs! So if you make the big power, have nitrous or just like to run it very hard, then this is for you. Some light chatter and aggressive holding are common. Can be street driven if you don't mind the chatter. We strongly recommend opting for one of our twin or triple disc clutches at this power level. "Do it once, do it right!" Features a full-metallic disc with the highest possible friction co-efficient. Street drivable, but not street-friendly. The hub is solid 12-rivet and the assembly is heat treated for strength and durability. Best for extreme street and drag racing.

    The SPEC Clutch Stage 2+ kit for manual transmission swapped 1UZ, 2UZ, and 3UZ Toyota/Lexus V8 engines uses a slightly more aggressive disc and is rated at 450 ft lbs of torque. Very streetable driving characteristics like the Stage 1 and 2, but with more holding power.

  • XAT UZ Turbo Flow Upgraded Oil Pump 1UZ 2UZ 3UZ TurboFlow

    NICE!! Higher horsepower means more oil demand. When you're running twice or three times the stock power output, you absolutely have to be sure your engine is getting lubricated everywhere it needs to! Especially if you have an aftermarket oil cooler to keep oil temps down! What does XAT do to bring you options for a better oil pump? We take a brand new OEM Toyota one, remove all hard edges, radius all corners, enlarge the front main seal drain, and shim the pressure relief valve to give more max PSI.     Our 1UZ / 2UZ / 3UZ series V8 chromoly flywheel is made form some of the hardest, most durable metal we can source for a flywheel.

    Our machine shop gets mad every time we do a production run--they go on and on about how hard the alloy is, takes longer to machine, wears out tooling... Well that's great news if you're planning on abusing your V8!!! This flywheel will take some serious abuse without a doubt, and we have proven it ourselves in our personal cars over a length of time.

    Weighing in at just 11 LBS, you will instantly notice your V8 rev up and rev down much faster! This equates to a more responsive throttle, getting to the important parts of your powerband, and more efficient engine braking.

    Our flywheel utilizes the proven torque holding clutches of the SW20 MR2 TURBO 3S-GTE. We offer clutch setups to suit everything from a stock engine all the way to to 680 FT/LBS with this flywheel!

    When installing our flywheel: you will be required to install the OEM automatic bolt guide on the crank before installing the flywheel. This item is curved--the curve needs to face the engine and fit flat on the crank-to-flywheel mating surface. Please see pictures for more information as well. After installing the bolt guide, torque the included ARP bolt kit to 70 FT/LBS using red thread locker/loctite on the bolts, and tightening in a star pattern, not one next to the other. We also recommend tightening down in 2 or 3 goes as well instead of going from finger tight straight to 70 ft lbs.

    This flywheel is meant for our W55/W58, R150/R151, R154, KA, and SR transmission adapters. This will NOT work with our CD009 / JK series Nissan 6 speed adapter!

    This is the perfect solution for those looking to add more seat pressure for higher revs and larger cams in the UZ engine (non-VVTi and VVTI versions included).

    This single wound spring will work perfect with the factory retainer and keepers. Coil bind is an immense 550 thousandths. We also have an option to include titanium retainers for a non-VVTi 1UZ. Please note that we currently only have BC retainers for the non-VVTi 1UZ engines. The springs will fit the VVTi and 2UZ engines, however you will either need to reuse the factory retainers, or use the (recommended) full SuperTech kit instead. Please see below for that listing.

    What does this mean? You can run more cam than the unmodified head will take! This spring is good to over 10,000 RPM with proper supporting mods. Seat pressure on standard 1UZ is 72 lbs, and in VVTi engines is 67 lb. Price is per set of 32 springs, for 1 complete engine.

    Sticking with the stock rods for your rebuild? Make sure you grab these upgraded ARP rod bolts to keep them together! These are a great option for budget builds, especially if you will use a set of pre94 rods. For higher HP builds (especially if your engine sees boost), we recommend upgraded rods, which include the rod bolts with them. These ARP rod bolts however are more than adequate for a fresh stock rebuild. Don't forget to have your rods inspected and reconditioned if you're reusing old rods!

    For those who just need a simple rebuild and not fancy ACL race bearings, we can supply these OEM quality bearings. Clevite is an American brand with one of the oldest pedigrees and supplies pistons, assemblies, cylinder liners, bearings and valves for American commercial vehicles as well as construction and agricultural equipment applications.

    Various forms of main bearing grooving have been used over the years. We are frequently asked what difference grooving makes.

    First, it’s essential to understand that bearings depend on a film of oil to keep them separated from the shaft surface. This oil film is developed by shaft rotation. as the shaft rotates it pulls oil into the loaded area of the bearing and rides up on this film much like a tire hydroplaning on wet pavement. Grooving in a bearing acts like tread in a tire to break up the oil film. While you  want your tires to grip the road, you don’t want your bearings to grip the shaft.

    The primary reason for having any grooving in a main bearing is to provide oil to the connecting rods. Without rod bearings to feed, a simple oil hole would be sufficient to lubricate a main bearing. Many early engines used full grooved bearings and some even used multiple grooves. As engine and bearing technology developed, bearing grooving was removed from modern lower main bearings. The result is in a thicker film of oil for the shaft to ride on. This provides a greater safety margin and improved bearing life. Upper main shells, which see lower loads than the lowers, have retained a groove to supply the
    connecting rods with oil.

    In an effort to develop the best possible main bearing designs for performance engines, we’ve investigated the effects of main bearing grooving on bearing performance. The graphs on the next page illustrate that a simple 180° groove in the upper main shell is still the best overall design.

    While a slightly shorter groove of 140° provides a marginal gain, most of the benefit is to the upper shell, which doesn’t need improvement. On the other hand, extending the groove into the lower half, even as little as 20° at each parting line (220° in total), takes away from upper bearing performance without providing any benefit to the lower half. It’s also interesting to note that as groove length increases so do horsepower loss and Peak Oil Film Pressure which is transmitted directly to the bearing.

    *P-Series Bearings*
    These are not to be confused with the standard passenger car and light truck parts for the same retention applications which also have a “P” suffix letter. These high performance parts have unique core part numbers different from the standard parts for the same application. P-Series parts are the oldest series of Clevite high performance bearings. The rod bearings in this series typically have the greatest amount of eccentricity. Most rod bearings are available either with or without dowel holes for use in aluminum rods. Most P-Series main sets are full grooved to maximize oil flow to the rod bearings. Both rods and mains have high crush for maximum retention, and a reduced overlay thickness to prevent overlay fatigue, sometimes referred to as hen tracking.

    Please note, this is not a complete bolt on kit. We are developing these still, which will be unique to each chassis. Expect to sacrifice your A/C compressor for this, as it mounts the oil pump where the air conditioning compressor is normally located.

  • Cometic UZ Head Gaskets MLS Multi Layer Steel, 1UZ 2UZ or 3UZ

    In most cases, we recommend 1.3mm head gaskets on 1UZ/3UZ (1.0mm on 2UZ), and if you are running custom compression aftermarket forged pistons. If you are keeping the stock pistons and looking to lower the compression ratio for more boost, we recommend a thicker head gasket such as 2mm. This is for BOTH head gaskets.

    The 1UZ version of the head gaskets is specifically for the non-VVTi engine and does not surround the oil port going to the VVTi solenoids


    Please keep in mind some sizes are exclusively made to order nowadays and will have a 1-2+ month wait time. The OEM head gaskets are more readily available.

    Cometic Head Gaskets are developed with the performance enthusiast in mind. With so many individual requirements for each engine, Cometic offers a number of options to suit your specific build and needs.

    The Cometic MLS gasket is comprised of three layers of Stainless Steel. Cometic uses Stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound, and corrosion resistance. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a flouroelastomer rubber based material (Viton) designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. The Viton coating is heat resistant to 2500C or 4820F.

    The center or shim layer of the gasket is comprised of an uncoated Stainless Steel layer, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements. The MLS gasket is ideal for both aluminum heads to cast iron blocks and aluminum heads to aluminum blocks.

    The composition of MLS will also withstand the shearing forces created by aluminum heads on cast iron blocks. No re-torque is necessary. By design the MLS gasket promotes an even torque load across the sealing surface allowing for measurable reduced bore distortion.

    C4136 and C4137 offer a standard bore size of 92.5mm. C4211 and C4212 offer a standard bore size of 98mm

    PPE Engineering is one of the longest running header suppliers for the Toyota/Lexus UZ V8 platform, and it's easy to see why! These headers are hand welded on a jig and nicely ported afterwards. These exhaust manifolds are made of 100% 304 stainless steel using a 4-1 design, and feature 1 5/8" runners with smooth formed collector and 2.5" outlet. They are a direct fit to the stock catalytic converters. Power gains are 18-20 whp and 20+ ft lbs!

    Please make sure you select the correct car application so we can send the correct header design out for you. Price is for both headers. Please keep in mind these are often made to order, so there may be a wait time of at least 3 weeks or more.

    Pre89 1UZ and 3UZ fitment confirmed reusing the stock Supra brake booster! Billet mounts for your aluminum UZ engine (or motor mounts, if you're wrong) into the MkIII Supra chassis! The pre89 version is finished and now available. If you have a 1989 model year Supra, please verify the subframe you have (or if your engine mounts were square or round) before ordering.

    Helpful hint: Square mounts came on the earlier cars, round on the later. 1989 was the crossover year, so please verify on your car.

    Includes rubber isolator mount! Well, not actually rubber, it's UHMW (ultra high molecular weight) with a shore hardness of 68D, roughly equivalent to over 100A (which is a more familiar comparison scale). Despite being one of the smoothest V8s ever created, we prefer having a dampening barrier vs. a "solid" mount to reduce NVH for street cars.

    These make bolting in your favorite UZ engine a breeze. Billet aluminum mounts, milled on a 5 axis CNC machine IN THE USA. Only the very best out there!

    These are for the non-VVTi 1UZs, VVTi 1UZs, and all 3UZ engines. Please note the 89+ version is different, but we do stock both!

  • XAT Racing Billet 1UZ 3UZ 2JZ Engine Mounts SC430, 2GS 1IS, GS400, GS430 and IS300 Swap UZ V8

    How race car are you? Probably race car enough to have loose, bad mounts, floppy engine, or maybe none at all and you need the right ones to mount your UZ. These billet, made in the USA 6061-T6 aluminum engine brackets (or motor mounts if you're wrong) were designed to tighten up your 1UZ or 3UZ from flopping around and keep it properly corralled. 

    The 2 piece design keeps it simple and bolt-on for any 2GS/Aristo 1998-2005 GS400, GS430, 2001-2010 Soarer/SC430, or even a UZ swapped 2001-2005 IS300. All hardware is included, so these bad boys are ready to drop right in.

    Knowing Toyota, there are likely many other applications these will fit for as well. As we get confirmation, we will add compatibility notes to this listing.

    For anyone that has purchased our plate elsewhere and not received hardware, broken, or misplaced it, we keep all of it in stock here ready to ship out!

    The kit includes zinc-chromate and black oxide finish hardware, because it looks cool and resists corrosion well. Includes all hardware needed to bolt the transmission adapter plate to the transmission case (replacing the front bearing retainer), the hardware to bolt the transmission bellhousing to the adapter plate (including double redundancy nuts for the back), and 2 small allen screws to hold down the hydraulic throw out bearing.

    Should you ever do something as silly as a twin disc clutch on your W55, W58, or W59 kit, we've also revised our design to be able to use a quill tube, in which case the 2 small set screws would be used to keep this mounted in place.

  • XAT non-VVTi 1UZ Intake Manifold EGR Delete Cold Start Block Off Plates

    Please note due to draconian laws, we are not able to ship these to a California address. Please support the RPM act.

    A simple, clean installation for your 1UZ swap! These blockoff plates are for the 89-97 1UZFE engines (LS400, SC400) and bolt on to the intake plenum. Get rid of all the stuff you're not using and clean up your build!

    There's a few ways of deleting EGR from a non-VVTi setup. Our block off plate goes on the intake manifold itself. If you put it in between the intake manifold and the upper pipe, everything else can stay as it is. Otherwise you would ideally weld the header flange shut to stop any potential leaks there, and then you can remove the piping system entirely.

    The initial test batch has been finalized, mounted, and confirmed for fitment! The display pieces are natural silver, but the finished product will be anodized black or anodized clear (silver). 

    Assorted UZ engines use different pulleys depending on generation and chassis, but any pulleys that arent a direct replacement for your setup are easily fixed.

    Full set of pulleys weigh just 2 lbs and 6 oz! Depending on your application, that's a savings of 1 lb 6 oz over stock!

    Included pulleys, one of each:

    • Power steering: this should fit all UZ engines, however some UZ V8s do not have serviceable power steering pump pulleys. They are pressed on instead of retained with a nut on the front. If you intend on using the XAT pulley, you will have to swap out your power steering pump for one with the retaining nut on the front. Please note that the diameter of your original pulley may be different from the XAT pulley supplied, which is factory 3UZ size, and may be preferable for your application to have it overdriven or underdriven slightly at any rate.
    • Tensioner idler: fits UZ VVTi engines. Slightly different from 1UZ non-VVTi engines, so you may need a 3UZ serpentine tensioner pulley bracket. The VVTi serpentine tensioner fits the non-VVTi engine without issue, however the non-VVTi timing cover that goes over it will need slight trimming if you go this route
    • Alternator: This will fit all 1UZ non VVTi, 1UZ VVTi, 2UZ, and 3UZ engines
    • Hydrofan bracket idler: Likely different from other UZ engines such as 1UZ VVTi
    • Upper idler: fits all 98+ UZs, including 1UZ VVTi, 2UZ, and 3UZ engines

    Some pulleys might fit your engine just fine but end up being a slightly different size/diameter. This may also change which sized belt you will need, so please keep that in mind when installing.

    For example, the Celsior non-VVTi engines (both UCF10 and UCF20) DO use a smaller diameter power steering pulley than the USDM American LS400. This would spin the pully faster and "overdrive" it. For drift, race and motorsport applications, we recommend the larger diameter pulley to underdrive it slightly.

    The Celsior non-VVTi power steering pulley is the same as the American spec SC400 one.

    In the interest of ever expanding our knowledge base, we are offering actual bench flow testing numbers for various Toyota heads, free! Included are actual numbers from heads we have ported in the past for actual customers.

    Although it looks cool to have big, polished, shiny intake and exhaust ports to show off...in the real world, this is impractical. Aggressive port jobs work for a dedicated drag race car or circle track roundy-round car that will always be going wide open throttle, pushing well over double the HP of the factory setup with big cams and/or extra boost from a turbo or supercharger. Anything else getting this treatment would end up losing low and mid range power as charge air velocity drops, and a little turbulence is conducive to better air/fuel mixing.

    With decades of hands on experience, our guys hand port every head that gets our pocket port service. We have the know how with where it is needed most, and how much is needed. Our results show modest improvements throughout the RPM range, and noticeable gains in the top end, without sacrificing much low end power to get there.

    Some engines (such as the 1URFE and 3URFE, which share the same exact cylinder head) already have massive ports that have been expertly engineered by Toyota. Are there gains to be had from porting these heads as well? At the very top end above 6000 RPM, yes, potentially, with enough cam and enough boost. For the vast majority of users making high HP N/A or even mild boost, there's not much benefit from doing so. As you can see from the numbers above, the stock UR V8 head already overwhelmingly outflows even a ported 2JZGTE head! This makes this 2nd generation of V8s a terrific starting platform as a capable powerplant.

  • XAT Racing 1GZ V12 Billet CD009 Adapter Plate for 1GZFE to Nissan 6 Speed

    When we took a look at the previous generation of adapter plates, all we could see was room for improvement and higher quality. We wanted a plate that would mount PERFECTLY with zero slop. It needed to look good and perform even better. DON'T get stuck with an overvalued, sloppy plate that ends up costing you input shafts and has poor fitment. You can go with a less expensive alternative and end up with broken parts, or you can do it right the first time with us! No complaints with over 5 years of service.

    This billet aluminum adapter plate reuses your factory 4 speed auto 1GZ bellhousing (1997-2004). It will require you to cut off the CD009 bellhousing, which gives MUCH more room to work with in most chassis. Alignment of the input shaft becomes dependent on this plate and not the quality of the bell housing cut, so worry not! This isn't like other kits out there. 

    2005-2017 bellhousings will not fit with this adapter. Although the GR-to-CD009 adapter plate we offer would bolt up, the thickness spacing is still wrong

    Regardless of which clutch you use, you will need to use the Quarter Master throw out bearing. 

    With single disc clutch setups, this kit is designed to use our custom flywheel that uses off the shelf "Z32 turbo" (89-96 Nissan 300ZX twin turbo) clutches, which are inexpensive, readily available, and hold power well. 

    Please see the listing below for the flywheel needed. Please note that with a single disc clutch, this requires a proprietary flywheel. OUR "OEM STYLE" AND "LIGHTWEIGHT" XAT FLYWHEELS WILL NOT WORK WITH THIS TRANSMISSION. You will need the specific CD009 flywheel made for this application.

    The twin disc setups include their own flywheel, but will also need a ring gear for the starter (the OEM auto flex plate)

This will fit all versions of this transmission: CD001, CD003, CD005, CD008, CD009, JK41A, JK41B, JK40C, 1EA0A, and 1EA0B from the 2003-2008 Nissan 350Z/Fairlady Z, 2009-2020 370Z, Skyline V35 and V36 non-GTR sedan and coupe, and Infiniti G35 and G37 

    Our products are CAD designed with OEM blocks and transmissions on professional equipment by industry professionals. No bad measurements, no flame cuts, no warped discs, no nonsense. You should be using a 3/4" master cylinder in tandem with the TOB we use.

    This is the missing link for doing the 1GZFE swap, or simply adding a manual transmission to your already badass Toyota Century. Our CNC process for manufacturing the plate results in an extremely precise adapter plate, laser tight tolerances, and a focus on quality that has yielded a product that will produce less wear on the transmission and clutch. The adapter kits come with the needed pilot adapter and bushing as well. This is the tried and true kit from XAT Racing, except no imitations when it comes to Toyota V12 1GZs. Sorry, V12 not included.

    You can also use the less expensive RAM throw out bearing with this kit, however we do not support it. You will need to drill and tap the plate at your own risk to mount one.

  • XAT Billet UZ Power Steering Pump Delete 1UZ 2UZ 3UZ

    Looking to delete that power steering pump and go electric? We've got you covered! These are custom made, in house designed, machined in the USA (as all of our products are), and ready to go.

    Included is the billet piece and the pulley. This will bolt up to your factory power steering mount bracket. The size of the pulley is the same as the top idler pulley. Depending on what else you may be doing, you may need to use a different belt size. Best way to check size needed is to use a piece of string to route around and measure the length needed.

  • XAT 1UZ TurboFlow Oil Pump High Performance Modified 2UZ 3UZ

    This will fit all UZ engines, VVTi or non. We keep the factory oil pump in stock, so we can typically ship out a modded pump next business day!

    Higher horsepower means more oil demand. When you're running twice or three times the stock power output, you absolutely have to be sure your engine is getting lubricated everywhere it needs to! Especially if you have an aftermarket oil cooler to keep oil temps down!

    What does XAT do to bring you options for a better oil pump? We take a brand new OEM 98+ Toyota pump, remove all hard edges, radius all corners, enlarge the front main seal drain, and shim the pressure relief valve to give more max PSI. Make sure you get a quality oil pump for your engine, from the professionals at XAT!

    In the pictures, you can clearly see some the upgrades we have made. Check out pictures where you can see the oil pressure relief piston polished for smoother operation, and more consistent oil pressures.

    There's plenty we do to greatly improve the oil flow without trying to "reinvent" the stock setup! The factory oil pump works well for factory applications, but there's clearly plenty of room for improvement, as we show here.

    As it turns out, not all UZ power steering pulleys are the same! Some of them are not serviceable. Additionally, the 98+ (VVTi and all 2UZ engines) use a different style pulley from the earlier cars.

    Please note some UZ V8s come with a fixed, press on pulley to their power steering pump. If you have one of these, you will need to swap your power steering pump for one that has a hex nut retained serviceable pulley. We strongly recommend checking what you have before ordering, and feel free to reach out to us with any questions. They are otherwise interchangeable and not too difficult to source!

  • XAT UCF20 UCF21 Celsior Hydrofan Pulley 1995-2000


    UCF20 Celsiors have their own hydrofan pulley, so we set out to make those as well! This pulley is actually specific to all 1995-2000 Toyota Celsior UCF20 and UCF21 engines (both the 95-97 non-VVTi and the 98-00 VVTi), which have a different bolt pattern on their drive pulley hub from other hydrofan setups. 

    If you have an imported Celsior, or are swapping an engine from one, you'll need this specific pulley to finish out the kit, if you plan on keeping the hydrofan setup working (which we definitely recommend if you have the choice)

  • 1UZ 150 Amp PnP Alternator 2UZ 3UZ OEM Toyota 1GZ V12 Plug n Play

    Drop in, plug-n-play, rebuilt OEM Toyota 150 amp alternator to fit your UZ! Fits all UZ engines, and bolts right in without any modifications. Don't settle for a poor quality rebuild from whoever has it cheapest. Opt for the best, for years of trouble free operation! Please note that some UZs have the connector in a different location, so you will need to verify your application has the connector that comes straight back out of the back of the alternator, and not plug in on top with a 90* angle.

    We also use these on our GZG50 V12 Centurys!

    These use a 4 pin connector, but we include the plug-n-play adapter with every order, so no extra work required! 100% ready to go

    This alternator also has an extra mounting rib that newer UZ engines added, however this is not required for mounting, does not get in the way, and does not need to be machined off in most cases. Some fitments will require this

    Please note this adapter harness only works on UZ engines with the oval style connector. If you have the round connector, you will have to rewire your harness for this to work, which is fairly straightforward since it's only 3 wires. 

    You will also need to verify that your plug is in the same position as the picture on your application. Some applications do not have room behind the alternator itself to plug in, and instead have the plug radially mounted instead of axial mounted. We do not currently have a replacement option for that.
